Struggling to get started.

Hi warriors!

Well like said in the title, I have not really taken any action in this internet marketing thing, I'm leaning into list-building and I want to pay for a coach and I already know who I want my coach to be, but before I do that I want to create a good product , I do not want to go with PLR products, I want something that is big in value, a product that I can give away for free or for a small fee and that people would still want to get it.

The problem is, I do not have experience at all so I was thinking paying someone to develop a software that can solve problems, or maybe make a better product of something that is already out there but is not SO affordable, so it should be better and more affordable, all with the purpose of list building and creating a good relationship with my subscribers.

So yeah, I don't just want to give junk out there and lie about something I myself not even achieving, because that's what a lot of people are doing and I can tell right away and I end up not trusting them and unsubscribing.

Maybe I'm thinking way over, but well I'm new into this, I guess most start at this phase of uncertainty, not knowing where to start at.

Thanks for reading.

Your coach should be able to assist you in creating a product. You seem to have your eye on a specific one so justt double check with them if product selection is part of the package.

It sounds like you know what you are talking about but without any actually action you will not see results.

Like Dragone said, your coach should assist you in creating your product and if they don't I would find a different coach.

I think you need you need to figure out what your interest are and focus on that first.

It seem's like you are lacking focus, so here's a quick action plan:

    1. Make a list of objectives i.e. create product, website, recruit affiliates, etc.
    2. Ask your preferred coach if they can help you achieve those objectives.

    Good luck!

Looks like you're focusing on a "thing" to get out there. This is normal thinking but a better way to approach it is to look at your niche and focus on "How can I help?"

Forget about the medium you'll use to help - first find the most pressing solution that's needed in that niche.

THEN ask yourself, "Which format would they respond to best?" Is it text? Software? Video? Create a product based on that research.

Well you can start by picking a niche you're interested in. Then think of products customers might want. Maybe to start out listbuilding find a product with a free trial and offer that or one that isn't too expensive. Create a squeeze page and do some solo ads or safelist mailings.

To the Op. I don't believe in the passion thing or interest. What I believe in is profits. If your passion and a profitable niche is the same, we have no problem.

I would find a profitable niche first. There is plenty of information on the internet on how to do just that. What I see with beginners is they waste time.

How you might ask? Reading emails, sales letters and surfing the internet looking for secret push button riches. Here is a big tip I use in my business: I don't feel the need to read emails when they come into to my inbox

At the end of the day I answer emails. And if you spend more then 30 minutes reading emails you are on the wrong track. Emails are reactive. What I mean is most emails have a link that raises your curiosity and you click on the link.

The next thing you known you have wasted 2 hours. In this business that is a lifetime. So, you want to be proactive at this stage of your business.

Looks like you know which Niche you're going into and you know you want to create a Software Product and also the person you would like Coaching you.

So you need to think about creating a product!

The most imortant thing to begin with is to do your Research to see if there will be a Market for the product you have in mind - It's NO good if there is no-one to buy your product!

You need to run all this past your Coach to see if they think it's viable proposition.

You then need to outsource the creation of the product to someone who has a good track record and comes recommended.

Most, if not all software products, are outsourced so no need to feel bad about that - your job is to come up with the idea - which is the hard bit!!!

You then need to be working on the launch of your product and recruiting JV Partners and also getting your Sales Letter and Sales Funnel in place.

Your Coach will be able to guide you through all this.

    Good Luck.

I agree wholeheartedly, but you will get a lot of people who will argue vehemently for passion. I'm passionate about growing my bottom line.

If you are new to this I wouldn't start by investing in some software. That's going to be expensive. You can give people awesome value really easily and cheaply if you know how.

As James said you need to be in a profitable niche. And then get really specific with it. Think health / wealth / relationships. Hopefully you will have an interest in something in one of them.

Ask yourself what are the key problems that your niche is facing and then solve one of them with well written report. It only needs to be 10-20 pages long with some nice looking pictures.

If you can solve a problem that someone is desperate to solve you have given them awesome value!

  • Heres something you can do to get going, go and write down one thing you can do a simple thing, then shut the world off till it done. Do it like your life depends on it and make sure it gets you closer to the ultimate goal. Then the next. Count how many are done this day then next. Put up on calendar. Most people do 0 are always preping. Dont prep to much do much more. For example if you are writing a ebook write like a maniak don't worry about spelling grammer etc put stuff down and move like a mad man. Do this and don't care about the world and you will get going and get going fast. Don't be like an engeneer they never create anything they only do well employed, be like a hippy with a gittar on LSD that's the mindset you want and oposite of a nitpicker they don't create eather they just point out what's wrong.

If you want go give it away for free to build your list, i advise against it. sell it for $1, so you know people on your list have the ability and willingness to spend money.

You know PLR products really are not that bad. You can find some really, really good ones. Just takes time like anything else. You need to actually read the PLR report or what ever it is and make sure its of quality. I've purchased a lot of good quality content and its a super fast way to get started and make some direct paypal cash for your mastercard if you have one.

Find yourself a couple of mentors. One who is in the industry. Somebody like frank kern or james frances or chris farrell and a ton of others and another mentor somebody in the personal development and teaches success. Somebody like brian tracy or tony robbins. these are not motivational speakers but indaviduals who have climbed to success from the very, very bottom. My point is there is a formula for success used by thousands and thousands of people world wide. Learn this formula and your life will change including all the things that you do. bla, bla, bla... Sorry about that!

Maybe find an affiliate offer and purchase and use the product and then create your own pdf that is of value and teaches what people are in demand of (slightly) and then you can offer the full product or all the goodies as your "one time offer" in your sales funnel.

Create a landing page giving away your free report and your one time offer. Pick a relativly low price product as your one time offer. Picking affiliate offers that link directly to your paypal is great way to make some instant money.

For traffic you can test with a couple of small solo's and once you optimize and increase your conversion rate simple upsale to larger click solo's.

Have you considered starting with affiliate marketing to teach you the ropes of selling things online? That way you don't actually need to worry about having your own product, and it will save you a heck of a lot of hassle in the short to mid-term.

Hi I would agree with Mark what about affiliate marketing, you also need some focus, which when you are new is hard as there is so much information out there. Your idea of a coach or mentor is a great idea as they can help give you that direction and get you focused. Affiliate marketing is a great way to start and thats the other thing just start, many don't and you will learn so much in the process including the frustrations. When you run into a problem ask in here .There's a wealth of knowledge.
    Cheers

Yeah if you going to spend a lot of money on a coach then they should be able to help you with creating a product. I definitely think product creation is the way to go but I wouldn't rush in to it while you still have a lot to learn about the industry.
