Indian Users: Payal V/s Western Union?

Western Union is terribly expensive and terribly inconvenient, compared with PayPal.

It also gives customers no security at all.

It also (partly for that reason) destroys vendor credibility.

I'm not sure I'd be willing to buy anything from anyone who required payment by Western Union, and I certainly won't be alone, there: I'm not sure what kind of context(s) you're thinking of, but I think that to find people willing to pay by Western Union would be extremely difficult.

My advice is
Never use Western Union for business purposes,

first it is expensive

second there is very bad reputation associated with western union, as soon as a stranger mentions western union, it raised my flags as if the stranger is scammer. Most of the scammers around the globe use Western Union as a channel of financial transactions.

Western Union is only good if your friend, family or colleagues are abroad or far from you and need some money urgently. Apart from this, A Very Big No to Western Union.

Western union is normally used for scamming, if you are setting up business transaction online, don't use western union for customers payment

I have good results with western union. People always get the money. Yeah, 100% of the time even. Certainly, it is an excellent superior consumer experience. Please do not get me started on pay pal now. They have frozen my account, and taken my money. Also, they once put a 20 day delay on a person. Hey, he had to wait a long time to get his money. What a terrible company. Perhaps they take lessons from ebay on poor consumer service. Basically, pay pal is horrible, and it is getting worse. Also, this is important, western union gives people cash right away. Well, pay pal makes you wait three days to transfer your money.

- Western Union can not be used for commercial use , every transcription is monitored by RBI very carefully
- Another one one year only 5 or something transactions are allowed by
- Please check detail terms and condition of Western Union
