How I Doubled My Income In 7 Days [Case Study]

Hi guys
I have a case study i'd like to share.

(This post may have typos and grammer mistakes... sorry for that)

By using this I was able to double my business VERY quickly ( for me it was 7 days)

What I have found is that if you present this offer to your list, those people will find it difficult to say no

So here's what I did...

I had a product I was selling for $97.

the usual way people sell products is by driving traffic to a sales letter.

When I did this I got a 2% response, at best....

so I got 2 sales for every hundred. This is before backend and considering life time customer value.

Not bad...could still make a good living from this...

But here's where it gets interesting...

I wanted to test a different approach.

I decided to test the offer.

I tweaked an approach I read about from Gary Helbert

"post date your check 30 days"

I found that this makes it quiet difficult for prospects to say no, because they get a chance to try the product or service before they buy it.

This is the same when I offered a trial offer...

So instead of charging the full amount up front... I let them have access for a small fee (like $4) and after 7 - 14 days they pay the rest.

When I did this I got :

40 people every 100 to take up my trial offer

15 people to stay and pay the rest of the amount owed.

compared to the normal strategy: 2 sales

More money in the end with the same sales page, justa different offer

Give it a shot and let me know your results

  • I believe it depends on the offer.

I did try a $1 trial with one product I had -- while I did see a significant increase in 'initial' signups (30 as compared with about 2-3 in the same timeframe), I didn't see any 'lifetime' increases.

But again, that may be dependant on the type of product. For this particular product, that strategy did not work.

the strategy works very well, I think it depends on what the product or service is (and of course what value is provided) . I have mainly done it in niches outside of make money.

Also drip feed the content has worked well instead of giving them everything upfront.

        Two important lessons learned.

Always test and track your offers.

Remove as much risk to the buyer as possible before you ask for the sale.

        Thanks for the reminders,
