Looking for Beta Testers

I am looking for Beta Testers for a website I have finally managed to get finished. And about time, too

The website is MiniSitePacks.com.

Try to break the system if you can. I need the registration process tested as well as the downloading, etc. You will receive 10 credits when you register so you can test that part out as well.

Feel free to use the minisitepack or Photoshop action that you download as a thank you for your help. But please don't sign up just so you can get something for free. I need serious beta testers. It won't take too much of your time.

I just need 10-20 beta testers so will keep the free credits on until I get that many. You can report any bugs or feedback via the contact section at the website.

Your help is much appreciated!

Unfortunately, I don't have time to test right now, but I just wanted to say it *looks* great! :-)

          Looks great Erum!

I'll dig into it more here in a bit, but so far so good

Might want to draw a bit more attention to the "sign up" link, I did have a bit of trouble finding it at first...

Of course... that could just be because I'm getting blind in my old age:p

    Erum,

My e-mail address has an underscore in it (Example: JOHN_RODRIGUEZ@DOMAIN.COM).

Your sign up form would not take the "_"

I signed up login was succesful. I got the confirmation mail and everything. I think where you go sign up could be more noticable in my opinion.
I downloaded one of the mini sites pack and it went ok.
I clickeed just about everything and it sems to be all in place. Even the pay buttons work correctly. I never purchased credits to se if it lead back to the site but everything else is fine

If I understand this correctly, you are selling a package of 10 credits, but charging people 7 credits for a template pack. What are they supposed to do with the leftover credits?

I signed up without difficulty, downloaded one of the packs, and found browsing very easy. I thought the site has a very comfortable feel.

I probably only have two observations:

          - The first is that the rights are a little ambiguous. In the FAQ it suggests the templates can be used for commercial and personal use, but only for one project and only if varied but doesn't stipulate what level of variation doesn't constitute re-selling. I'd probably want to know what form the templates take, are they style sheets, straight html, fames etc.

          - The second thing is that whilst many of us are savvy with what to actually do with templates once we have them, including tinkering with them on photoshop or with an editor, you'll have a far greater market reach if there were some video tutorials on how to get the most out of the templates. Same for the photoshop action scripts, but to a lesser extent since if anyone has photoshop they should really know how to use AS's.

          Nice site, well done.

            Very good site

I found everything to load quickly, navigation was easy and site design and function very simple.

I never downloaded a kit as I don't have photoshop and while I have Dreamweaver, I don't know how to drive it, so I felt the kit wouldn't be something I would use for a while, but thank you for giving me the opportunity

I wish you all the best with it

            Cheers

Wow! That's some great feedback to wake up to guys.
Thank you for all the nice comments.

              Greag, Thanks appreciate it!

              Mike, Thanks!!!

Jessalyn, good point about making the sign up more conspicuous. Will defeinitely do that.
John, So glad for the catch. Adding _option in email as I type this.

Bauger, can't do beta testing for the order form lol. I've gone over that a few times myself plus did get a sale so it works

JMichaelZ, the credits don't expire so you can store them for later use. I will be adding more stuff over time so you can use them any time you see something you can use.

cremaster, already on the sign up link. Will make that stand out. I did make the required fields bold but may be it is a better idea to add asteriks, too. The address field is not required at sign up. The magnifying glass loads the bigger image on the same page as an overlay. Which browser are you using?

Ben, The templates don't have to be varied for use but you most probably have to at least change the title for your minisite. Will definitely add more information to the FAQs. Videos are a good idea.

Misty, you don't necessarily need Photoshop for the MiniSitePacks. Blank graphics are provided so you can edit them in any graphics software.

              Thanks again! Really appreciate this.

Erum, in my VERY humble opinion:

1)On the signup form, you should put asterisks next to the mandatory fields. Ididn't put my address, and a few other fields and it still worked.

2)I found it a bit confusing that clicking on the pictures and clicking on the magnifying glass gave me different pages. But, maybe thats just me.

Other than that, the site looks and works great. (Haven't downloaded anything yet)
