Yes, we use it quite a lot. You just have to weed out the bad providers and find the quality ones.

Yes, there are some really good quality gigs on fiverr.

I have used Fiverr for Graphics, which worked out very well but also tried to get an article written - which turned out to be pretty bad - it cost more the a fiver and ended up in the bin!

But hey, I should have known better!

Yes, I wouldn't use fiverr for article writing. Without you doing a lot of testing different providers. "You get what you pay for"

Hi flipfire, I totally agree - there are plenty of good gigs on Fiverr but article writing I fear is not one of them - or at least I've not come across one!

@muffty Where would you suggest I go to outsource article writing?

I prefer a full time person. You could get one for $5 a day or $150 a month, that you can teach to do everything! Check out a site called "easy outsource" you can find GOOD reliable people there.

As for fiverr - backlinks and video product reviews, haven't had too many problems sticking to those kinda gigs

        I use fiverr a lot...

Most people will tell you to avoid SEO services or content creation on fiverr, but if you know the good gigs, you can also use fiverr for most tasks...

Check out easyoutsource, you can negotiate prices there, and each person is trainable. My VA graduated from college, has her own blog and everything.

But whatever she didn't know I trained her via video. Building a relationship this way, she's become another me.

I pay her $300 a month, but have offered others $150 and they don't mind.

Since you are but one of many people they do assignments for, it's ok.

They appreciate the stability in pay, as oppose to competing for clients with everyone else.

I didn't see any offers for that kind of price on that site. The lowest price I saw was $2 an hour, but most were close to $10 per hour. So I question the capability of those asking $2 an hour.

You can get pretty good work from a fellow here on the Warrior Forum who goes by firstpagewebsearch. He has people who work for $75 a week for the simple stuff like articles and back linking. I have used him in the past and they doo good work, aand if for some reason the work is not up to standard, he will replace them and give you someone else and you will not have to pay for the poor work.

Right, that's the asking price lol

But when you post an assignment, just let them know what you want to pay, you won't have ANY shortage or responses. You'll probably get too many.

And as I mentioned, they are easy to teach. I've worked with my VA for about 4 years now. Best move I've ever made!

She does all the work, while I come up with the ideas and enjoy my freedom!

But at the end of the day, we're both satisfied.

Fiverr has worked for me in many cases, and not really in some. My opinion is that fiverr has quality gigs but the key is to weed out the better providers from the unreliable ones. This is the most time consuming part.

For Small Tasks like graphic design and promotional stuff Fiverr is best choice but for bigger tasks i will definitely say try other portals like oDesk, PeoplePerHour etc.

Once in a while I'll use Fiverr for a quick Tweet or FB marketing task, but as a writer I'd never list or hire from there.

But to be clear -what type of outsourcing tasks are you looking for? You could consider creating a post in the Warrior for Hire section here on the forum.

It really just depends on what the task is. I've used them for book cover design and simple marketing tasks with success...I wouldn't trust fiverr for more important type work tho.

I don't think you can really outsource much with Fiverr other than small stuff. I got a FB coupon there once which was legit. I would recommend sticking with people with a little ribbon next to their name and a large number of happy customers. You can probably get a better outsourcer than someone from Fiverr though for continual work and cheaper pay.

I have used Fiverr for Ebook covers and Website Headers. The graphics and turn around time has been great. The guy I found on there is in Indonesia and his screen name is: rudyisfat
It saves alot of time and headaches for only $5.

I use Fiverr for very select things, of which if they do not deliver or deliver poor results does not impact my business in any way.

For the things that I outsource, I use Fiverr for almost everything. All you need to do is check out the gig rating and positive feedback to determine which sellers deliver quality work and which sellers don't.

In my opinion Fiverr is cheap, it's effective, and more importantly it works.

Fiverr can be used for more than you may think... I agree SEO is "hit and miss" as someone mentioned, and it's certainly NOT something you really want to gamble with, BUT because the work is so cheap, it allows you to be creative and use those gigs to your advantage...

I'm going to give you SEO examples of what I mean, but if you really think about it, the concepts below can be applied to just about anything...

      SEO on Fiverr...
Obviously, anything on fiverr that promises contextual backlinks, like a link wheel, or wiki's is going to be heavily spun, PLR content. But, because those gigs are so cheap, you can now have articles written (maybe also on fiverr) and then use your original content for that SEO gig, and suddenly a low quality service becomes much better quality and possibly for a fraction of what it may normally cost...

Also, you never want to point a lot of backlinks all at once to your site, that's common knowledge, so if you use videos, and guest posts, niche related high PR blog comments (white hat quality SEO tactics) to point directly to your site, you can now "JUICE" all of those manually built links up with fiverr gigs...

So when considering the 2 examples above, I think you can get a lot out of fiverr no matter what your trying to accomplish, because its low cost, you may have to take a few extra steps, but I still think its worth it...

JFTR, I have a list of fiverr sellers that I know for a fact do great work, and no extra steps are needed... I know the services are good quality because I use them consistently. Sometimes finding them can be tough, but as someone above mentioned, check feedback and rating on gigs before you order...

The very first time I made money online was thanks to 3 fiverr.com gigs. I wrote a product review, posted it to my site and go a specific set of Linkbuilding gigs. A few weeks later I got my first check for $180 or so.

Lot's of people complain about fiverr and think it's all just a bunch of scammers trying to get your 5 spot but it that was the case then those same people would stop using warrior forum since you can find WSO's that are scammy as well.

The reality of the situation is that fiverr has some people who do great work no matter what the gig category but most marketers get who get burned by the scammers become evangelists while the ones who fiverr works for are too busy making things happen to talk about it much.

Fiverr is a great outsourcing for people on a budget, but as your budget grows you should just hire full time staff.

If you're just starting out, I agree... pay attention to rankings. And read comments and reviews about the seller too. It's perfect for quick, small tasks and I've used it many times now. But yup, its not for everything.

Hello OP, from my own experience, gigs requiring graphics are the most common but as most things you need to try it out for a nominal fee (fiver); I've used fiverr for a number of jobs including a squeeze page and the results are usually good. If end result isn't what I expected then get another service provider and ask around the network as you are doing. Fiverr is a good resource - you're not committed to using one resource as having several other options is always good. Good Luck!
