Writing Articles Before Launch??

Hi Warriors,

I am launching a niche freelance site (which is currently still being developed) and I wanted some opinions on whether it makes sense to start submitting freelancing related articles to article directories like ezine right now for SEO purposes. I am planning to launch the site in about 4 weeks.

If anyone has any other marketing ideas I can start on now before launch, I would love to hear from you. Ideas on how to start drawing people to my freelance site (it will be one really cool site. Its not your typical copy cat freelance site).

Thank you.

As long as you have some content there that tells people why they should come back soon, I don't see any reason why not.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

I think that saving the content up to right before the launch is better (personal opinion). I'd rather have people hitting links when there is a place for them to make me money. I think the SEO value might be better when the content on the linked pages matches up with the content of the linking pages.

You're on the right track in regard to triggering some buzz with articles. And it will help you establish credibility with potential clients and customers. I can imagine you're as busy as an ant at a baker's convention, however, you'll want to invest a block of time into writing at least four or five fresh articles.

Select a variety of niches, including at least two that are not Internet marketing subjects. Naturally you'll want these to have no more than two to three keywords each for SEO purposes, however, be sure to demonstrate only the very best practices in this regard.

Finally, you'll want to pick the top five article directories for submitting your articles. And since each article is unique you can submit them at once. Should your time constraints limit you to writing just two or three articles, you can still submit them to your chosen directories, however, you'd want to allow at least three to four days between the submissions.

Don't forget to take full, but conservative, advantage of the bio boxes to promote your upcoming venture. Take your time with spell checking and structure and this can give an explosive boost to your launch.

Take some time to rest and enjoy every step of this experience. Launches can be tremendous drains of energy. However, what a way to go

    Ciao,
    Alex
