With the email filter in - are all doors closed ? Need your advice please !

Hi ,

I stopped believing in Google organic rankings ( as I have been bitten and un-plugged many times ) . So decided and built my new online store purely depending on Email marketing ...

Everything was going well ..until the new Gmail Social / Promotions TAB rolled out ( guess Yahoo and Hotmail will be following soon ) . Now this is gonna impact big - and send my news letters to the PROMOTIONS TAB !!

Apart from Organic traffic , Email marketing and Facebook Fan page ..is there any other ways to get good traffic ?

Any other new channel -or- strategy present out there ?

Need your help and advice please ...

    If your list is filled with people who want to read your content and find it interesting and good value surely they will seek out your emails.

    If your list has low open rate etc then maybe time to purge it and add some quality buyers who wait for your content.

    I have emails from a couple of lists that I seek out and whitelist as they send me great emails

    Just rethink your approach and it will be fine

      Hey - Tanx for tht advice Yeah Am working on tht .

      But my question is .... is there any other reliable source of traffic ( Like Orgainc , Email ) ...on which we can build our business on ... so we can detach our self from depending on Google's search and their Gmail INBOX !!

      Or is it yet to be discovered
