Best way to sell unwanted domains?...

Hi,
just looking for some help / opinions on how to sell some unwanted domains. I've got about 30 now that I've never done anything with. Rather than let them lapse I'd like to try and sell them and at least recoup some of my (years of) registration fees.

Any ideas where the best place to market these would be? Any domain flippers out there who could advise?...

    Hi
Not an expert but you said you have done nothing with them so you are selling the domain only with no content. Unless you have domain names which are sought after you may be lucky to recoup your reg fee, if that....
I have had to bite the bullet many times and just let them expire.
But that's only from personal experience, maybe the experts can help...

    raymer,

    I wouldn't go by anyone's "free opinion."

    I would go to Valuate...

If you find a domain worth several thousands of dollars or more, I'd look into having it "professionally" appraised....

Some buyers will give weight to the "professional" appraisal.... Others will discard it completely.... It depends on the buyer...

Be VERY careful with an appraisal sites, paid or Unpaid. IF you have EMD domains they may be of some value, but a great branded name will give you a zero and it maybe worth $$$$. In the end domains are worth what someone is willing to pay....TRY ESTIBOT, also

Valuate is powered by Estibot...... except Valuate lets you appraise five domains per day...

Try and sell on here and namepros. You have all kinds of auctions from GoDaddy, Afternic & Sedo....or try and sell them to end users for more money.
    Good Luck

To get the most bang for your buck you should try to find end users for the domains. You can try contacting businesses and people directly who might be interested or posting on WF and other forums for people who might be interested, but it could take several months to find the right buyer.

You can list them on sedo.com, afternic.com, godaddy auctions

Rather than spend any more money on some domains I never should have registered in the first place, I've just let them go. If they don't sell, I'd let them expire rather than wasting any more money on them.

I register domains as I need them now after wasting a bundle on a bunch of them.

I would simply chalk it up as a learning experience and remember in the future NOT to buy so many domain names at once without having a clear plan of action in mind.
