Ha, "all of you" are NOT adept at it, seriously.

Most of them are struggling just like you. A successful IM method is not something you just do overnight.

You don't need to spend money--just pick a method and research using the search button on this forum. The problem is that you jump from thing to thing. That's Shiny Object Syndrome. You have to stick with something and work on it to get good.

There is no "paint by numbers" guaranteed make-money program. There are only guidelines you can follow, which guarantee nothing.

You just need to sign up, then search for what you intend to study, and voilà!
The only thing they will charge you for is the certificate or diploma. (Which you don't really need if your only goal is gaining knowledge and insight.)

If you need someone to hold your hand, Internet Marketing (Or even business overall), is not for you.

This forum has more than enough information to get your juices flowing; don't depend on others to do work for you.

Issue #2:
You need money to make money. You are starting a business, not a hobby.

You could learn how to provide a service online like article writing or video creation. It’s easier to make money online this way than by selling affiliate products because you have to deal with a lot of competition online. Of course, there is competition when you offer your services too, but you will manage to have your first customers and make a nice portfolio.

You can also make some money for a few expenses by creating Squidoo lenses, Zujava leafs, and Hub pages, but these free platforms keep changing their rules and you are not the real owner of your work. Create only a few pages and try to drive a lot of traffic to these pages. This is what really counts.

You can sell many Amazon products this way, and many other affiliate products. You make money only for creating these pages, even without selling anything, but selling is much better.

This is not a fast money-making method, but most people make some money this way.

You can also use these pages to promote your websites, without spending money.

ppc-coach that site is gold, im making 50 dollar per week and just starting, doing nothing. the learning paids the membership its 49 pero month i think, if you dont have money to afford this you can still get the 1 dollar trial(its a membership of 15 days free trial), if you want the 30 day membership get a work and purchase it

@vonnevonne - The problem isn't lack of information, you already have more of that than you need. It's your mindset that you need to work on first so you don't become easily discouraged. Most strategies will work to varying degrees if you work them hard enough. As you are limited by available financial resources, you will need to put in the sweat equity and the time necessary to start getting results.

There are 2-3 very good free WSO's in WSO section. But that does require work even though you get support from them but there are things you will need to put effort into.

The problem is TIME ! When you start, you need plenty of it or it will take forever to pick up.

You can't go and invest on things you don't even have the time to develop.
For now, you should read a lot before starting anything for nothing !

Try McDonalds, they are about as "step by step, paint by numbers" as you can get. I know I'm being negative, but with your current mindset, there is no way you are going to make any money doing this.

Phil is right. All too often people look for the 'secret' or the 'strategy' that will solve all their problems, but the truth is that mindset is the number one thing you should work on (every day) before anything else. Once you have the right mindset and you break the chain of negative thinking/patterns/behavior, not only do you become a happier person but you will also be unstoppable in your chosen pursuit. Anywho, I would suggest you spend some time reevaluating what YOU want to do to make money online. It's about picking a niche that YOU like rather than chasing money. If you like the niche you're in, then the money will come much easier and you'll be less frustrated.

There are so many steps and phases to this whole game. You need the correct product, you have to say the correct things and most of all you need the correct people coming. Making money online comes down to two things. Traffic and conversions. Master those two things.

Its all based around supply and demand. Find out what people need and then find a quality product that others are selling and then either direct link the traffic or better for down the road build yourself a squeeze page. The trick here I've discovered is tying in a good, related offer as a "one time offer" to help give you some upfront cash flow or at least to pay for your time and cost. The big pitchure here is building your subscriber base.

So basicaly decide on a market and niche you want to get started in and then figure out one or two targeted traffic sources you want to start with. Always keep track of your numbers to monitor your sites performance so you can work on making it better. Very, Very, Very important is the optimizing part. That will determin your success or not

Try to focus on one thing - don't jump around looking for a magic solution because you won't find one!

You can search online and in this forum for all kinds of free information but the main thing is to 'keep at it' and learn as you go along!

You really don't need to spend anymore money.

If I were you I'd get in to list building and selling affiliate products (or your own) to that list. You can get free websites/blogs, they might not be the best but they'll do until you start earning some money.

Don't get drawn in to all the 'get rich overnight' and 'earn a million dollars in 3 hours' products, it's not possible.

You need to work hard and put some effort in, it might take you a while but it's worth it.

Kevin Chapman is right, you won't make a million in 3 hours starting from scratch and there isn't a button you can press as a beginner that will make money fall from the sky in tens of thousands. However, you can work at it as a business and create a lifestyle most people can only dream of. If you want it enough (Most don't).

Stop buying anything else.
Do a proper research.
Find an interesting niche and make a proper thorough research into that niche. I am sure you will get there.

Internet marketing is a hit and miss. There are so many uncertainties in this business. What you need to do is that do some research, formulate your own marketing plan. It'll be good if you would be an affiliate of a well established company in this business and learn how they do it. Modify their strategy in the aspects you think they lack and come up with your own.

Don't worry! Most people are struggling just like you. Just make sure to stick with one topic. Don't give up after you've put time, effort, and money into this. Most people fail because they are in the same situation as you and they end up abandoning their venture. Follow the advice others gave you, and good luck!

Do not give up! Read some bio's of some of the greatest internet marketers out there. They didn't make their fortune the first month online.

Perseverance and determination. Stop buying CRAP as most of the tools and systems that promise you fortunes leave you in the dark. Trust me, I spent $5000 before I realized non of the people I purchased from want me to succeed.

Im not an AM but i utilize paid traffic for my website. I didnt have the money to pay copywriters, ppc managers, etc. It was really hard at first and i kept losing money but id say like others dont jump, make one business/traffic source work even if its $10 a day consistently.

Its all about consistency slow and steady.

Vonnevonne hello, I'm in similar situation though I have made some sales and I also agree with all the above comments; it's not a "get-rich-quick" system; like any thing in life, you need to put some time & effort into and "have some skin in the game" as they say. Vonnevonne, I totally understand your situation and agree that many others on here struggle in the same way.

Some will tell you to stick to one area of IM until you master it. I'm not so sure that's correct for everyone - I spent a few years working in one area of IM, which clearly wasn't suited to me and when I changed and looked for a new idea, I started making more money. I spent a great deal of time looking through the threads on this forum, but there were no real step by step guides. A lot of threads were (and are) very vague. Because there are usually no in depth details, it's likely you'll put a foot wrong and then you'll be even more discouraged.

Another poster above suggested the Passive Income: The Smart Passive Income Blog website, which I think is truly inspirational and has helped me and many others with step by step instructions. Pat Flynn, who runs it, makes money from his affiliate links, but most of the time he will suggest free methods to reach the same goals, although it will take longer. He has just launched his Niche Site Dual 2.0 which is designed to help people like you by explaining how to reach your goals and to make a business out of IM. You can keep track of progress each week and it's great to get into his mindset.

Other than that, it may be worth looking in the Adsense/PPC/SEO section, as there have been some great threads sharing really useful information.

The majority of members are probably struggling to make money just like you are, and the ones who are successful are probably not as successful as you think they are, but don't be discouraged. My advice to you is to stick with one method until you make money. Try promoting affiliate offers with videos or something like that.

Obviously you’ve been beaten up enough here already. Maybe rightfully, I don’t know. So I will take another stab at this from a different direction. Let’s assume you are working here, have realistic expectations, and are competent and intelligent. Assuming all the other things are in place to be successful – hard working, business savvy, and all the other things. Then your question of a step by step process isn’t so bad. It basically means start small and work into it. Find what works by learning, testing, implementing, then review your results afterwards.

Now I’m going to suggest something small and ridiculous. Open up a lemonade stand. Do your research, find a good location, choose an appropriate beverage, hire the cutest kid you can find to stand out in front of it (because no one is going to buy from you). Etc. etc. Make your own decisions, own it.

For something small online – start a new thread, get friends on facebook, do you see where this is going?

You have started a post out of desperate feelings of failure hoping for people for help you as seem discouraged. I sympathise with you.

However, the forum members responses are valid, you have not given us details of 'How much have you really tried?'
- When you say numerous strategies, how many did you master or attempted to become an expert at?'
- How many books? courses? have you read and did they have a step by step guide you followed?
- Do you have a mentor?
- Why did you get into IM?

Answer the many questions we all have asked, take a good look at what you want to achieve and then decide if IM is for you or not?..

It looks you have fallen into the trap of believing that there is a special marketing solution that will help you generate the money you want to earn online. And you spent tons of dollars into it, which is really not a good thing.

What you can do now, is for you not to quit till you figure it out. I don't suggest you buy more products but try to read free information on Google, ask experts and start out small. Don't aim for high earnings first. Find out what works for you and stick to you.

Its really not that difficult but at the same time its not that easy. I took me years to reach where I am now.
