Order Form/Cart Vs. Invoicing

So, my website Super Articles has one of the most difficult ordering process and I have been advised to change it to a more user friendly format more than once. I do not have paypal so I do not have the luxury of giving an email address to my clients and be done with it.

I have two options in front of me:


Order process 1:

1- head to my website.
2- Fill out the form and make the payment.
3- Send me an email with all the specifications.


Order Process 2:

1- Send me an email with the details.
2- I send you an invoice.
3- Make the payment.



Economically speaking, process 2 is about $20/month cheaper than process 1 since I would have to use a cart in process 1 but I care more about customer experience.

So, any input that you might have would be appreciated.

    I prefer the first option. That's how most services work when paying with Paypal. It's also how fiverr works as well. You pay for the service upfront and then you provide your order details after the payment is successful.
