Cloudflare vs Rackspace vs Liquidweb vs WiredTree vs Amazon
I am creating a website site that will get a lot of front end traffic to the homepage.
It will also have a membership area (using wordpress, a lot of videos, Digital Access Pass, OptimizePress theme, etc).
So potentially a lot of bandwidth (and a lot going on).
What hosting solutions do you recommend that combines both scalability (so if I get a huge burst in traffic the site will keep running well) but also affordability?
I'm thinking of using either WiredTree or HostGator and then using Cloudflare with it
Or just using a cloud solution like Rackspace or Liquidweb (but these seem more expensive) ...not sure though
But I'm curious what you think is the best in terms of price/scalability if traffic jumps (and also will work well with DAP.
I've only used WiredTree, bluehost, and s3 in the past.
But I don't want to stress if my site can handle large traffic bursts ...or if there's downtime when I'm away.
Any thoughts or advice? I'd really appreciate it! Also, I am not super techy, a programmer, or a hosting expert ...so this can't be too difficult.
