JV-ing in the Self Defense World

I'm a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner with a number of membership sites that're doing quite well now (hundreds of folks at the 27-57 price point), and I'm looking to put some of my Jiu Jitsu products to the self-defense market.

Who might be the best folks to reach out to, or the FASTEST way to find a huge list of potential JVs in Self Defense?

Thanks a ton!

-Daniel

People in semi-related niches such as fitness might be able to help you out.

I'm interested, I have a small but growing jujitsu site with automaated publishing
I would promote your products as an affiliate.

PS: I'm also practicing traditional & Brazilian jujitsu

Scour your market and find the authorities. Who are the people everyone is already looking up to and already have a large following.

Silly marketers try and sell products one by one. Smart marketers go after JV's and affiliates instead since those people already have all of the customers they need.

Find sites/people that are building a list, in your niche. Also, see if products exist in clickbank for that niche. When, you do find these people, contact them and introduce yourself, and the benefits you... can provide the other JV partner.

WIIFM (Whats In It For Me?) If you can provide a perk and help them, they will gladly help you

I used to deal in the self-defense niche before I sold it away to gain some time for myself.

Try vendors. I used to buy offline ads in addition to PPC, along with some retargeting. I'm pretty sure you can sell them as premium products instead, I've sold some over the 1-2k price point.

Or you can simply start marketing jiu jitsu on Youtube. It's pretty popular among some of the self-defense marketers. They basically use demonstration videos and teach "half of the stuff".

Fire me a pm if you have a question. I build businesses and provide consulting. I do not do finance/money/internet marketing niches. Fitness, self-improvement and various others are welcome.

I used to aggressively promote my own martial arts book and videos. I'd be interested in talking further with you.

Cool, James, were you selling complete DVD sets and equipment, or what kind of 1-2k packages? I have some products in the $500.00 range now.

Even look at direct competitors, do a deal where you send your offer to there
    unconverted leads.

This may take a little persuasion and education on your part, but once the understand
the value, they'll be all for it.

I totally agree, MIB, I need to do a TON more of that...

What is the best way to track "uncoverted"? 60 days no purchase? 90?

      Thanks guys!
