Can quicktime pro convert swf to avi?

I'm looking at the site for quicktime pro, but can not figure out the answer.

anyone who has the pro can confirm the answer?

Nope.

Quicktime pro is for encoding quicktime files.

Try SUPER .

Depends on your version. Some versions of QT and read SWF. If you can drag your SWF over the QT icon and it opens you should be able to convert it to AVI.

Just depends on the QT version.

Another option (assuming you have the native .flv flash video file) is to use avs4you video converter - this will take the flv file and convert it into avi for you.

Depends what you want to convert it for. If it's so your users can download it and find it easier to watch, as with .avi's abilties to play in almost every player.. you can recommend Flash Movie Player.. it rocks.

Quicktime pro can convert swf to avi. But the function of it is not very professional for recording only.
I think you can try magic swf2avi.

I'm not able to get swf's to open with quicktime pro...so that is cool that you're able to.

I can get flv's to open and convert using the Perian - The swiss-army knife of QuickTime components open-source plug-in for Mac.

If you have a Mac and a bunch of flv files you need batch converted (for whatever reason) then you can use this free alternative to Quicktime Pro:

No you cannot convert file usingquicktime pro so if you want to convert swf file to avi so you can use iWisoft swf to avi converter. Or search on google.

I don't think quick time supports swf, in fact you need to convert flash swf to mov for it. Moyea swf to video converter Pro can help you convert swf to all kinds of popular formats including mov, avi,etc.
