The Key To Making Money Is To Take Action...

Do you want to begin making more money online than you have ever before?

Then you must begin to take Massive Action to accomplish the things that are important to you and that will help make a difference.

How much action are you truly taking on a daily basis?

How much are you learning about new writing and copywriting techniques?

Are you constantly testing and tweaking new marketing and list building strategies?

Are you reverse engineering the things that the successful people do in their life and the things that made them successful?

Are you setting realistic, specific goals that are achievable?

This is what it MEANS to truly take action. What is the effort that you are putting forth on a scale from 1 to 10.

Are you giving your all and 100%? If you're not, then you will not achieve your goals.

Begin taking action, putting forth true effort, and you will begin to make money online, achieve success, and become successful.

Could not agree with you more! Unfortantaly its "yeah, I know" but thats as far as it goes! And we wonder why. Its funny because its usally that mindset that complains on everything.

To think that we have the power to do anything within reason. Its works to be successful and take action. A lot of testing and tweaking kinda like Internet marketing.

    Have a great day

But you also really need to know that the market you're operating in has enough demand or you'll take massive action for a long time and never really get anywhere.

Malcolm, All you said is true but knowledge needs to be there before taking action. Some people work very hard but they don't have knowledge or sometimes they have don't have directions.
In my opinion the key to success is
    -- Gain Knowledge
    -- Identify Directions
    -- Take Massive Actions

I agree as well, but I think "take action" is one of those phrases that everyone uses and knows, but some how they don't actually do it... You know like "stay in school" for some people (me)...

You don't realize how true it is, until you actually take action...

I agree hence why I said you must be constantly learning, testing and tweaking, etc WHILE taking action.

When you get right down to the facts, taking action is STILL the most important part of the equation. MOST of the newbies who I know and coach, generally suffer from learning TOO MUCH information.

Taking action is not enough. Consistency is the key. Being hyperactive in taking action can be bad if you keep taking action for every shiny objects that interest you. You won't go anywhere. It's like keep taking action and keep starting.

    Sometimes called 'analysis paralysis'.

Someone once said most people stop thinking for themselves the moment they're born. I think most people stop thinking for themselves the moment they enter internet marketing.

I don't agree with the notion that you need to have ton of knowledge to make money. Massive action takers almost always beat Non Action Takers, even thought they might be far more knowledgeable.

So called dumb people win by doing boring repetitive tasks everyday. While intelligent and know it all type of people who are lazy non action takers lose.

This all day long. Knowledge IS inportant, but the problem comes from the fact that most newbies obtain TOO MUCH knowledge and never really follow through on anything that they learn. They call this information overload.

    Yes, massive correct action.

Focusing on the right activities are so important.

Also remember, it's not about the money, what what the money can get for you.

    Malcolm,

The responses to your thread suggest to me that there is not just one key to online success.

A car can spin its wheels all day long without going anywhere; likewise, marketers can take massive action but still not make money.

Obviously action is one key, knowledge is another, persistence is another and there are many more.

I think in Internet marketing broad brush strokes are only marginally helpful. What has helped me most, and I have seen it in others as well, is to focus on details.

When you get the details of a system, product, or strategy right, then applying action, persistence, and all the other keys can really do wonders!

The best to all of you,

    Steve

In my experience, trying to focus on the details and NOT the overall specific goal you want to achieve is the #1 reason why most people fail online.

Way too many newbies (falsely) believe that the answer to making money online is to read, read, and read some more. This is not true.

Reading and learning is great (and also necessary) but you have to also be taking action and testing and trying out what you read and learn.

Information is great but it must be coupled with action, otherwise it's simply in one ear and out the other.

I have an awful habit of starting projects then failing to finish. I have a rush of enthusiasm when I first start, but as I begin to question what I'm doing, or come up with new ideas, I abandon the project for another, or simply quit altogether. Persistence is something I have to get better at if I ever plan to be successful, and it's something I'm sure others struggle with as well.

      This is what I believe.

I stand by what I have learned through experience.

I said nothing about reading and learning. No one disagrees that learning is part of the game or that goals are important.

Applying action to specific details of your business (also called execution) will bring money to you a lot faster and longer than focusing on your overall goals.

      The best to you,

      Steve

Taking action means nothing if you're not taking purposeful action.

"Taking action" stopped being a piece of advice long ago. It is now a cliché.

It's too general and vague to mean anything.

I could not agree more. One mistake I made when I started and I'm sure I am not the only one is to try to many things without seeing it through. Got distracted and overwhelmed to much.

Keep focus and keep taking action on one method to start with until you succeed with it. Be consistent and have targetted focus with clear realistic goals. As soon as I took this approach everything seemed to fall into place.

        My 2 cents.

      Same here.

I'm convinced that far more people screw up through setting off in totally the wrong direction than through inactivity. It isn't lack of action that's most people's problem: it's lack of education/understanding/skills.

I agree 100% with you. With no action, there will be no results. But another thing that I feel equally important is having the discipline to follow through the whole system. There are many people that started the project but they do not finish it. Timely reminder to me to take more action

  • NO doubt; that without "taking action" nobody will ever succeed at anything!! Action is needed first and foremost.

Take action, learn the ropes, and create an "action plan" based on your findings.

    "Marketing Research & Implementation."

Any marketing venture that doesn't include both a "Research & Implementation" plan will surely not be a success!

How do I create a successful campaign and make money, if I have no plan?
How do I know what my customer is interested in buying or where to 'meet' him/her if I have no research?

How do I accomplish any of this if I do not:

    "Take Action!"

    .

For the record - especially for any newbies: with internet marketing a lot of the marketing research and implementation planning can be done 'on-the-go.' Create a campaign and learn as you go! ... and good luck!

This is an excellent post! Is is true you NEED to take action to see results. I will take this one step further though and say you need to take...

    FOCUSED ACTION!

There are so many things to learn about internet marketing -- that even the most successful people online can not master everything.

The key is to focus on one aspect of internet marketing, say traffic, and become great at it. Once you accomplished this -- move onto your next challenge.

This will help explode your productivity and start earning much faster.

Before you "take action" make sure you know what you are about to take. A brave soldier without equiping himself with enough armors will end up losing the battle. So its best to know it before you act on it!

A lot of good advice above - When I first started out I got really fed-up with hearing those words "Take Action" - and of course I didn't really know what Action I should be taking!!!

It was just a phrase that those in the know kept saying but it was rarely explained!

I think you need be confident in the Niche you are going into have a Focused Goal of where you want to be and and then you need to develop a Road Map of the Actions you need to take to reach that goal - you then need to make sure that you implement that plan of action daily, be consistent, determined, and learn as you go along!

We all make mistakes and things will go wrong at times but just 'keep going'.

As someone once told me - Stick to one thing and get good at that first. eg, build your list of subscribers first, they become clickers and clickers become buyers. Nothing should be more important than that. However, it is to easy to be overloaded with quick fixes that promise to deliver. To make a lot of money you need a big list of subscribers - clicks - buyers = $
Once you have your list, you can then offer relevant content/offers etc. People buy from people they know and trust. Also, a big percentage of your list will become unresponsive after 30 days. So make sure you train your list right from the beginning. What I mean by this is to mail early and mail often. Every day! even twice a day. The more you mail the more you earn. And at what time of the day you mail? Anyway, enough of me rambling on. I hope some of this helps you. Just remember, whatever market you're in, the money is in the list!!

I agree, to focus and be consistent, the distractions must go. No email, facebook...write down every day 3 realistic things that you want to achieve. Do the same for the whole week. It is hard to stay single minded, but you do get a hell of a lot more work done.
