I Can't Get My Video Past MetaCafe's Video Filtering

So I put a PPT presentation video on youtube and today tried to share it on oneload.com but metacafe, veoh, and flickr keep rejecting it as potential spam. Anybody else come across this problem? How does the filtering work and how can make sure my videos get accepted?

Unless it is original, quality content with intrinsic value other than an affiliate link or a thinly-hidden sales pitch of some kind, I believe you will have to settle for YouTube.

The video venues you mentioned have decided they cannot afford to host what you are producing, which is no knock on you, but just the simple reality of the marketplace.

That may be the case but I did a search and found many videos of a similar nature that are live on these sites right now. Maybe they got grandfathered in or something is the only thing I can think of that would explain it. Also, the videos aren't being reviewed by a human so I'm assuming it's one of the keywords in the title or tags that is causing the problem. The video is a how to with a quick CPA offer at the end. The subject matter is small business loans which may be the problem.

I understand. I think you are correct. They have probably grandfathered others in, but now they are being very selective. It's tough to get CPA offers in those networks. I actually had original content turned down, which wasn't CPA, because they said some of it violated copyrighted material. The material was mine, but it wasn't worth the hassle, so I never resubmitted. It's getting tougher every day.

Okay I've tried a few of the suggestions and still it gets rejected immediately what this tells me is that once a file is rejected it is rejected for good. Meaning to resubmit I'll have to change the file name and reupload (oneload.com doesn't allow you to change the file name once uploaded).

You just need to create the kind of video that they don't want to block.

The subject matter or the links may be the issue. It could even be keywords used in the title or description.

The best way to determine what the nature of the limitation is is to take out stuff until you can get the video to publish. Then start putting stuff back in, until you get cut off again.

Yes, this is what I've been trying to do I figured that the word "loan" was the problem and removed it and I also removed my PHP redirect and so now it only links to my sales page on my own domain. It still won't go through though, you think the term "small business" could be flagged as well? Do you think I should change the file name before attempting to reload?

I can only speak in generalities, since I have never actually used metacafe specifically.

Try going to metacafe and uploading directly. I believe it is free to do so. And, I bet that metacafe will tell you specifically why your video is being rejected.
