I also never had this before,i really don't know what is going on.

This issue is going on for all the domains in the same account.

Try to upload your themes (in particular images) in binary mode. It appears they may have been distorted when uploading (possibly in ASCII).

What do you use to upload?

I had this issue and it turned out to be I had a space in the theme file folder I was uploading. As soon as I got rid of the space in the folder name everything worked like a charm.

  • After you upload the theme you have to select it and activate it.

Then for some themes to make them appear properly (Usually the case with premium themes) you'll need to activate the plug ins related to the theme.

If the theme is not appearing after activation, then clear the cache in your browser and reload.

You have to explain more. The link you gave isn't a Wordpress installation. Also, what do you mean that it doesn't show up in the right way. You need to be more specific with your problem. If it is happening to many themes it could be the way Wordpress is installed, a database problem or a hosting problem. It might be something other than the themes. That is why you need to be more specific.

go into the the root folder (usually public_html) of your domain and rename index.html to index_old.html then your WordPress should kick in.
if not then you have installed WordPress incorrectly or in another directory other than the root.

Your link shows http://www.richardmoog.com/ - are you expecting your Wordpress installation to show up there? Your Wordpress installation is actually at http://richardmoog.com/wordpress (it was a lucky guess ). I couldn't see anything wrong with it, but it's 3.10am here and I stopped seeing the obvious hours ago and am off to bed. Hope that helps others with the nature of your problem, if you've still got one.

ive also checked the '/wordpress' folder and as dianne says, it looks fine.

This may be your web browser settings? try resetting them and check the site again.

Sometimes these types of problems can be faulty database entries and the like as well.

Though it may very well be the theme itself, do not automatically assume so, it may keep you from uncovering the true culprit in a timely fashion!

Richard's blog was initially showing up - and he obviously put up the index page while working on it. This is what you now see.

Previously, on his home page, the images were all distorted - normally associated with improper uploading.

Seems to have it fixed now, though. And I am sure he will reconfigure so that the blog shows up as it should.
