do you guys know if EIN number is reusable?

    Yes. It is your personal identification number with the US IRS - use the same number wherever you are asked for it. EINs are usually issued when you are technically an employee of a company (i.e. you operate as a Limited Company in the UK). The equivalent code for sole traders is a TIN number, which is used in exactly the same way.

    Either way, giving your EIN or TIN to a company such as Amazon tells them that you have been accepted by the IRS as coming from a country that they have a tax treaty with - and so full US taxes do not need to be withheld from your payments.

      basically its been used for an old amazon account that was closed down, question: can i reuse it on another amazon account or must i apply for new one?
