This niche is saturated and then some. It is hard to break in. Perhaps, if you have a lot of time and money. Like talking in a crowded club to any one. Yeah, it is hard to hear your voice over noise. Well, you will find out soon. Best of luck to you.

Yes there are white label sources out there that will do various levels of things for you from little to everything.

I created a fun spin on dating sites called YouLookGoodTogether.com and did all the coding etc myself (but I'm a coder). It was a lot of fun and people seem to dig the site. So it CAN be done.

Just heard Tom Stockham speak recently. He was part of match.com when it started. He was laughed at by investors who wanted to know how much of the $100 million industry of newspaper personals he was going to capture. And they laughed even more when he told them he was planning on having match.com be even bigger than the current industry.

He said match.com now does about $500m every year now, just themselves.

So what's the next big move for meeting people? Facebook did it, Match did it,

I don't know about the technical side of things, but niching down is DEFINITELY a good idea to break in the industry

Personally I would start locally, say your county. Do some SEO for your local area, then once you get a decent user base expand on a local level. If you go nationally or more broad your users will be too far apart and your site will suffer for a long time

You can target dating by going after a certain country/demographic. You have to be specific, then you may get better results.

People who say dating is saturated are either failed i that niche or scared of this niche to enter.
I have created one dating site myself few months, [white label one] and just added few articles there when i created it, since then i never touched and it is making me $400 plus every month.
Now $400 a month is not a big money but it took me only 2 days to create site, writing articles for it etc.

I would do a lot of homework on the software you would be using. Skadate is pretty good with a one time purchase licence and lots of features. Adult dating is a big niche and quite profitable perhaps you would like to look onto that one as well.

It is a large niche, with a lot of sites like that. You can choose an age group or build your site around something that people have in common like hobbies.

I've been in the dating market and in about a dozen of it's niches / micro-niches for over a decade. At one point I had over 120 websites, including a private blog network, and have sold many different kinds of products and services.

The dating market isn't saturated. Market saturation is mostly a myth, especiall in this market, which is massive, never-ending, has thousands of new potential customers every single minute, and has rapid buyers who spend a lot of money, depending on which niche you are targeting.

Some people confuse market saturation with competition; yes, this market is VERY competitive, however, you can use that to your advantage. But it's far from saturated. I could retire just from creating businesses around this market. It has massive, profitable niches such as:

• Dating advice for men
• Match-making services
• Dating for seniors
• Specialized lifestyle coaching
• Online dating
• (Insert religious group or a group here] Online Dating
• Improve your texting game
• (Micro-niche) How to Meet and Talk to Women in Bars (very specialized).

The way you make this work is to look at other business models that are successful. Make sure you solve a very specific problem for a specific group of people and make it a WOW experience from beginning to end.

Most people fail in this market because they don't do their home work, they don't analyze their competition, they don't know their demographics, and if they start a membership website like a Match.com or POF, they don't know to get sustainable, targeted traffic and get people to spend money.

I use Match.com and Plenty Of Fish as two examples because they appear to have the same business model, however, how they first got started and how they got eyeballs and profiles were completely different.

If you want to start a dating website even remotely like theirs, it's going to take a lot of resources and time.

You can do very well in dating so long as you are knowledgeable in the different sub niches. (Sub niches are what sells in dating)

Sub Niches within BDSM, Bondage, etc can make you a lot of money.

"Dating" is a MONSTER market. You have to be as creative with your dating niches as you are with your "Make money" niches if you want to turn profit. But there is certainly profit to be made there.

I did a dating site a while back. Spammers/scammers are a big problem. You'll also need some money to buy ads in order to populate the site with members. No way you'll get 1000+ members in a week with SEO alone.

Anyway, give it a go. But I'll warn you it's hard work and not an easy niche these days.

Also remember dating sites are on borrowed time, with mobile apps like Skout and WeChat taking over.

I have an idea for extending what is on offer in the dating industry I am sure it would bring visitors in and it's not on offer (yet)... But I am not a coder, I don't want to use white label...

Most big money niches are bound to be saturated. Dating affiliate sites can be successful, it's just a question of finding the right USP for your site.

search "keyword" + "Forums" in google and you will be able to see the forums that are in your niche that you need to become a part of and start getting your name out there and generating traffic as well

The one thing that I learned in the adult niche is micro niches. Find a niche that has a need that only you can fulfill.
