Should I and Do you autoblog?

Ok so now I've figured out autoblogging and have the links automatically pointing back to the source I think I'm going to take advantage of t=all these feeds I've found that I am completely free to use...

Poll..

Oh and for those of you that do what are your tips, i.e dedicated ip etc.

Basically my plan is to use WpoMatic to drag in news fees to a new section on my site..

Then to take this furhter and autoblog a news site..

I really really hope I can get some structurally sound advise on this one, I don't want to mess up an already very good blog of mine.

If your blog is already established I would not do auto blogging. I only do it on blogs I set up specifically as auto blogs as there is the possibility that it could get banned.

    Why?

Because you are depending on other people to provide your content. I have a blog that was getting auto feeds from a very reliable source that got hacked and suddenly my site filled with porn etc.

Luckily it was not my only feed so I had to go and manually delete but before I got to do it Adsense locked it out so now I can not use adsense on it at all.

Most of my auot blogs now fill with my own info that is pre written and comes from my own feeds.

I autoblog but do not use WPomatic. I found that to be a little lame with the short posts it would make, kind of obvious the posts were coming from RSS feeds.

I use Caffeinated Content, a mixture of Yahoo Answers, articles and Youtube videos, then I sprinkle in some Amazon reviews with Reviewazon, then even a little of my own content too. I use alinks and gocodes to redirect key phrases automatically in the blog posts to affiliate products or wherever. autoblogging to promote 'real' sites is a very effective (and cost-effective too!) way of promoting stuff. Everyone who wants to make money should be using it, in the same way that they should be using article marketing.

I've had some good results with WP-O-Matic, but it does have a tendency to pull the wrong feeds sometimes, usually this can be spotted with the first fetch and can be rectified....

I use it in conjunction with SimplePie plugin and it works a treat..

Like Quentin said though, I wouldn't do it on a blog that you already work on, all my autoblogs are completely auto and aren't used for anything else..

I have toyed with the idea of using an auto feature for a news category on some blogs though.. never got around to it yet

    Peace

no matter what i tried, i just could not figure out autoblogging, so i voted pointless.

i tried autoblogging and could not get a single visitor to my site organically. if you could take care of traffic though, it might be a good idea.

I've only started auto blogging so I'm not really seeing actual results or rewards yet. I'm using it on brand new blogs and established blogs that have fallen by the way side and need a boost.
