Google Analytics

Hi all

Google analytics has stopped recording traffic on my site since about 3 or 4 days ago and I'm trying to figure out why.

I have a plugin installed called Google Analyticator on my Wordpress website, I think this software might be causing the problem. This software was already installed on my site, activated but disabled (in settings). About 3 or 4 days ago I enabled it and it seems since thats when Google Analytics stopped working. I have since disabled it but Google Analytics is still not working.

Anyone any ideas of what I should do here?

    I had an issue where analytics stopped showing data for my sites a few days back. I did post in thw wf but had no response.

    Analytics is now showing data for my sites again, but I have no idea why it stopped working for me, Maybe in a day or two yours will show again too.

    You have to make some tests. For the first dezactivate the plugin Analitycator and find other plugin for Wordpress.

    Disable your WP plugin, go to your Google Analytics dashboard and get the snippet of code to add to your website.

    Go into your Wordpress Dashboard and go to Appearance>Editor, thengo to your header.php file and paste the Analytics snippet right before the </head> tag.

    Put the tracking code in your Theme header.php as dadamson said. If you change your Theme frequently this might be a little problem for you to put the code every time

    Disable that plugin and see what happens...that's almost certainly the culprit.
