High commission items that are not "products"

Hello,

I'm looking for some advice. Right now I'm looking for different ways of getting affiliate commissions through things that are not "products".

For example, when you make a website you need a hosting. Hosting is something that pays fairly big amount of commissions and is not like a "product", but more like a essential thing that has to be used before creating a site.

Is there any other similar items to hosting that are not like products, but more like services/must-have thing for something else.

Hope you understand what I mean,

Cheers!

Why not do some research on the best hosting services and sign up for a reseller account which you can manage.

Hosting has a fairly high retention rate because people don't tend to switch providers too often if they are getting a good service.

Sending people to other hosting companies via affiliate links is the lazy version of doing this. You can create hosting reviews to do this.

Think of anything that might be an ongoing service that Businesses in particular need to pay for every month. Some services will offer residuals. Hosting is one, but think broader (or narrower depending on how you are going to market). Some of these apply to persons, as well, but I found commercial services to be where the service money was when I was at the height of my business affiliate marketing. Clue: my biggest money maker was/is something a lot of people consider obsolete, at least in personal use. But the businesses still use, even if the vendors and delivery methods have changed.

If you could find a way to be an affiliate for a monthly coaching system, or perhaps some type of paid membership forum in a high demand niche, you might be able to earn pretty well from that.

Also, think about software. Some software requires users to pay monthly to access it.

I'm personally not a fan of targeting tools to sell to an insular community, but I guess it works for some people. I'm more a fan of tangible products real businesses need. Software is a good one. And again, you could always target specific niches. There is software I have to pay for every month for some of my businesses, much of it custom packages because the advertised public deals can't handle my needs. If someone got a residual off that alone, they'd be making decent money. I also have clients with internet/phone plans that bill 5-10 grand per month, and someone gets paid off those every month.
