Idea for reoccuring ebook sales

My line is oil painting. Specifically landscape oil painting but that could change in the future.

I'm not a good internet marketer. I suck at it, actually. I have a small list but it just isn't getting me much money.

IF I had a good list that was growing at a decent rate, here's how my business would work:

1 - After initially signing up, the subscriber is offered a set of materials to help them learn how to oil paint. It would be videos or an ebook or a combination of both.

2 - In order to help the growing artist continue to learn, a steady stream of oil painting project e-books are offered, or DVD's or both. The project e-books are very detailed, showing step by step instructions. Instead of relying on affiliate offers, all of the material continues to come from the same source. Eventually there would be a whole library of these project e-books.

Of course, that's if I knew what I were doing trying to market something on the internet. It's too bad there aren't people out there that do know what to do. I could create the materials and someone else could handle the marketing.
