Default Frustrations with Joomla and Flock: So close, yet so far!

Alright Warriors, once again I need help from all you Joomla junkies... Here is the situation.

Sometime back I had an install of Joomla in my root directory that utilized the MovableType XML-RPC plug in that can be found here.

This allowed me to use the blogging abilities within Flock to post to my Joomla installation. It worked great!. I started over with my Joomla install, assuming that I could get everything to work again in the new version of the software as needed. I can't.

The support for this is poor is the developer I think struggles with English somewhat. I have tried to register for the support forum to no avail. I've done several Google searches, and this seems to be one of the only options out there to do this.

Has anyone successfully used this?
Does anyone know of another alternative to getting Flock to recognize your Joomla install as a Blog?

Thank you as always
