Buying internet business - advice please

There is no advice anyone can give you...either you're going to get off your rear end and start doing something...or you aren't.

And it seems like you aren't.

I suggest you just START. Build a web site, offer one thing for sale...what? It doesn't matter. Find an affiliate product that you're interested in and pick that...try clickbank for starters. It doesn't matter.

Go from there...

But you have to do it.

You are doing this wrong. The world does not need more internet marketers. Nobody cares about you and your problems.

So what do people care about?

Themselves.

If you want to make money, you are going to have to find a need out there that is going unmet. Then figure out how to meet it.

Simple as that. Once you have solutions to offer, suddenly people start to care about you, at least long enough to buy whatever it is you have that they want.

What are your passions? What do you have experience in? Start by answering those two questions. Then build from there.

Don't buy someone else's "turn-key" business. A thousand others have bought the same thing - or something close enough - and will be your more-experienced competition.

Instead, realize that when you bring genuine value to the world around you, then you really have something worth marketing.

When I first started I also was a procrastinator. What helped me is a free book called The Pomodoro Technique.

This book is based around the principle of working in 25 minute increments with 5 minute breaks in between.

When I first started my work habits were so bad I could only focus for three 25 minute increments and I would quit and spend the rest of my day playing video games or browsing the internet.

But I stuck with it and set goals to focus for four, five, then eight, 25 minute increments working my way up to 8 hours worth of effort.

So I used this book as a way to train myself to focus and get over procrastination.

It also teaches you how to deal with interruptions which I think is a great part of the book

Anyway it is free so check it out.

This could potentially be a problem because pretty much every Internet Marketing course you buy is going to have the same initial steps.

What steps specifically are hard for you?

Setting up a website?
If so you can hire someone else to set it up for you. You can pay as cheap as $5 all the way up to $250+

Setting up a email autoresponder?
If this step them find out if the site has tutorial videos, most services will have tutorial videos to help their customers.

Setting up hosting and domain name?
Again you can search youtube of Google for this step. There are tons of information about this.

Another alternative is to join a mastermind group, or to find 1-2 people in your life who will help hold you accountable.
