Email Marketing - GMAIL Update

With the recent update to the new email layout, they really hit it big against the email marketers. I think once this thing catches wind the other big boys, Hotmail,Yahoo,Aol, and all the other major email sites will do the same. By email marketing will be impacted in a big way as these are 90%+ of subscribers?

What do you think?

      Well Brian, unfortunately there's just no way to know. It's not like there are several threads about this on the main page already... definitely not...and the forum certainly doesn't have a "search" function either, right?

    I'd imagine the other companies may follow suit in some way, but this could all end up being a good argument for making your opt-in product an e-course.

    If you had, say, a 5 day e-course that people were really looking forward to reading, they would eagerly look through that promotions tab to get it. Day after day, they'd click on that tab just to make sure they see the latest one. Hopefully that would at least tip the odds in our favors.

    Or we can just inform our subscribers in the Thank you page to replace the emails we are going to send to them from the promotion tab to the first tap to keep up with the goodies we are going to send to them , I think if people are really intrested in what you're offering to them , they will do it and they will open your e-mails , just saying .

      I like that idea. I think some people would do that if the content was good enough.
