What's Your Strategy On Product Pictures?

I have the worst product pictures in the history of the earth.

I sell one-on-one coaching, guides, e-courses and similar services in the health/yoga/parenting and spirituality niche.

I don't really have pictures of my products...they don't look like anything, just text.

I don't have room for big, snazzy product pictures in my web store and I don't want to spend money on custom-made product photos, mostly because no one would really see it.

But I can't figure out how to choose what kind of pictures to post for my products...right now I have really goofy stock photos that I posted when I was tired and just never changed it, but now it's time to change them.

How did you choose your product photos for coaching, services, etc.?

Maybe you can skip the pictures and try videos? From what I am seeing sales videos are the way forward...

Maybe you could have something designed on Fiverr. People design 3-D covers there, and that sounds like what you're looking for.

If you find you want to make a LOT of different covers and maybe banners too, you might want to invest in something like ecover wizard pro. I got mine at one of Jason Fladlien's auction webinars, so I don't have the exact access info for it. But it works great!

Then you need to make room (really). Then go to some place like istock and buy pics for $25 each. You will have literally thousands of choices - especially for the niche you've mentioned.

If the picture spaces are really small have you considered just using icons? Search icon pack in Google and you will find some very nice graphics suitable for small or larger frames.

P.s. Please don't use those cheesy stock images IM tend to use, I get depressed every time I see them lol.

Choose images for your customers...not internet marketers.

For this niche you really do need some nice pictures of happy, healthy and attractive people.

Ecovers are the visual representation of your products and are definitely important. You should spend the money to have professional ecovers done for all your products. It can also help with the perceived value of your product.

video would be a great alternative to pictures, try to have a little space on our homepage to place a video about how other can benefit or the importance of your product or service.
