welcome or how to post first?

I'm debating on whether I should post a welcome message or how to post message first.

I have videos for both on the new welcome page (the one I asked for hover ad code)

On my 10 inch netbook I have to scroll down a little. I realize most people want to find how to post immediately, but I feel I should welcome them first.

    You might think about starting with some introductory text to set the stage for what's to come in the initial videos. You could introduce both the Welcome and How to Post videos in a combined intro.

    It might go something like this . . .

    "I know you're anxious to learn how to post at this site, but before I show you exactly how to do that, I'd like to introduce myself so you'll know who you're dealing with!"
    "Hi, my name is Rick and I recorded a short welcome video titled . . . yada, yada, yada" You can watch it HERE (link)
    "OK, let's get started with the important stuff. I have created a short video explaining how to post at this site . . . yada, yada, yada" You can watch it HERE (link)

    After your introductory paragraph or two, then add your videos, probably including the welcome video first.

    Just my two cents . . .

    you have to be straight to the point, most of the internet visitors would not mind about introductory, so if I were you I would go with the video
