Fiverr Questions and Concerns

As in swinging for the fences everytime you get an order and OVER DELIVERING. Not only will many of them order again, they will tell their friends. For a long time I was getting Christian orders because I did several Christian articles which the client simply fell in love with. After that, I was getting product description work for Christian t-shirts, Christian youth essays, etc etc. The same thing happened with Filipino-related topics when I did several essays on Filipina-white male pairings.

Writing on Fiverr is fun. If you consider researching and writing as forms of traveling, you'll love the volume Fiverr can give you. That's the main reason I write. The money is secondary-although it does pay the bills

With a degree in English, you certainly don't want to be competing in a 2 articles for $5 marketplace. One decent and well written article for $5 is cheap enough and if you write well and are consistent then, you'll not only get orders, but repeats.

Things to do.................

1. Get your Fiverr profile set up and tell people you have a degree in English and what you'll do for them in your description.

2. Get a video done of your service, as Fiverr like people who have videos with their gigs. There are a few excellent video services on this platform.

3. Ask Fiverr admin to promote or even feature your new article gig. They are likely to do that if you have a video with your new gig.

4. If you get promoted on the first page of your category then, you're likely to get a few orders.

The initial launch is quite important and if you get a boost with Fiverr then, the orders should follow. It's up to you from there how you want to progress and you'll certainly get repeats if you do a good job. Your main aim is to be able to do a requested 400 word article in less than half an hour or you'll be working for less than the minimum wage and you don't want to do that especially with an English degree (you owe it to yourself).

I knew of a chap on Fiverr who wrote articles a couple of years back and was getting regular orders, but he eventually burnt himself out through boredom, as the work can become tedious and some people are quite demanding for their $5 worth.

You may be able to take a few orders - but you have to be careful. What happens when you get 15 orders every day for a week straight?

When you overdeliver, you want to provide more than what they think they will be getting. For example, offering to do 1 article for $5 but then sending them a bonus one for free. By doing that you impress them, but aren't expected to do it in case you get behind.

I never have. It's something I've considered though.
