You can use Aweber's hosted sign up form. There is also a free hosted squeeze page some people are using on this form. The name escapes me at the moment.

writeaway is right, but it really depends because you need to have some copy before any subscriber will even be motivated to sign up to you.

Try any of the Web 2.0 sites. Weebly. Blogger. etc.

I do advise that you get a website though, it offers more control and you have access to plugins that do the job for you very easily. Invest little, reap big.

Fire me a pm if you have a question. I build businesses and provide consulting. I do not do finance/money/internet marketing niches. Fitness, self-improvement and various others are welcome.

The system I use and train on does exactly that. It gives you a free capture page and autoresponder. You can use your own autoresponder if you want.

Either way, you have to set up some kind of location online for capturing leads.

If you're going to run ads on FB, how about setting up a FB page?

Why would you want to build an email list without a website? Having your own website adds credibility which is critical to having a profitable list.

You can have one website with multiple pages for different lists.

Purchasing a domain and hosting is a minor and necessary expense for the vast majority of online businesses. Is there a particular reason why you don't want to purchase a domain? I assume that it is not a monetary issue due to the fact that you intend on running facebook ads for traffic.

You can use social media sites that allow you to create mini pages and embed your list form on them to build your list. one site that comes to mind is weebly.com they allow you to create squeeze pages on their platform and integrate your autoresponder into it.

In my experience, when people ask this question, it's often because they're unaware that they can - if necessary - have their own, self-hosted website without paying anyone anything for it, without having a credit-card or a PayPal account, and without depending on ridiculously unsafe services like "Blogger" where they can never own or control "their own" pages.

If any of that happens to apply to you, some of this thread may help you: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8368853

On your specific question of list-building, there are - broadly speaking - four main options, as explained here.

However, I strongly advise you not to try list-building without being able to arrange to use the services of a proper, professional autoresponder company (because the "free" ones tend to be a nightmare and a disaster, and there are reasons for that). As explained here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8368374

Dear, if you don't want to pay for such stuffs, you can use a host of free services, like: blogspot, wordpress, weebly, etc ... where you can setup a domain (subdomain of course) and free host your squeeze page. (I recommend weebly). However, I still want to advise you to buy your own domain and hosting package (will make you more professional and bring long-term benefit)
    Good luck!

Just keep in mind that a list is not like a comic book collection. You can't build it up and then just leave it sitting there until you decide what to do with it. If you wait too long to start the conversation, people will forget they ever said hello to you in the first place.

    Regards,

You can have getresponse or aweber host your opt-in form..

And then you can get a free .tk domain redirect or any other redirect.

But, why wouldn't you want your own website?

It's a great place to host your content, affiliate links, social media links, products, funnels, giveaways, and everything else.

    Food for thought.

I remember using excel and mailchimp, both are virtually free.

Plus I use go to group meetings in my niche and swap details with potential customers. That worked out well.

Forgive me if i'm wrong but if you intend to have many and several niches then will you not need to keep your lists separate?
I think there is not point sending marketing emails to a list which is not relevant as they are not hot for the product your will be selling.
"Getresponce" uses campaigns to keep your lists separate so you can target your audience. You can merge them later if you wish, as and when you need to combine separate lists for a specific project. I think I have this right, unless anyone else can elaborate?

I don't think its a good idea to try and get leads with out a website or a capture page. I would suggest getting a capture page for you business.
