ClickBank, is it any good?

Alright so a friend of mine said that click bank is shit because you lose a lot of money cause of the owners product refunds. Is this true?

I'm wondering if there is anything better than click bank?
That the refund policy might be different.

Hope I can get some answers
Thanks!

If you sell make money online stuff there's plenty of refunds but then your selling marketing stuff to marketers that are, wait for it, most likely members of Clickbank.

Ever heard of the saying "You can't con a conman"?

Step outside the MMO niche on CB and there's plenty to make, the trouble is, most people sell make money online stuff to make money online customers with no idea how to actually make money online themselves.

yea, everyone tries to tell you to market to other mmo seekers because its easier, but i'm not so sure... seems kinda circular if you ask me.

Use your internet marketin knowledge to promote your other skills and abilities is probably something a little more solid

        No; it's nonsense.

Different affiliates have vastly differing refund-rates for the same products. As ClickBank will confirm, if you discuss this with them, some affiliates have uniformly above-average refund-rates for every product they promote, while others have very few refunds indeed for anything they promote.

It's true that products in the "IM", "MMO" and "Forex" niches do, overall, have slightly higher refund-rates than those in other niches, and there are some other reasons for that, too. But most of the variances are very directly attributable to differences between affiliates' pre-selling methods. (And I'm saying that as an affiliate, not as a vendor).

A product which had a very high refund-rate across its whole range of affiliates would very quickly be removed from the Marketplace by ClickBank, because of course the financial and administrative costs involved in processing the refunds wouldn't cover their processing profit-margins on the ones sold successfully.

I don't know if Richard was, but I am: there are several other reasons for not promoting that stuff. One important one is explained here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8375288

Our friends all have their own opinions, don't they? Our degree of success in internet marketing has a lot to do with the people to whom we choose to pay attention, and by whom we choose to be guided. The facts are that ClickBank has been established for longer than Google and has during that time paid out around $2.5 Billion to its vendors and affiliates, and large numbers of people are successfully earning their full-time livings as ClickBank affiliates.

I find, out of all the places I've ever used, that ClickBank's refund policy is the one that suits me best, as an affiliate. It's their refund policy that makes it so easy to sell the products. And it's one's own marketing skills as an affiliate that determine whether or not one's customers do actually refund. Some affiliates have refund-rates well under 1%, for all the products they promote.

You can always do that, here - but you still have to decide which ones you're going to listen to. There are plenty of people here, too, who believe the same nonsense as your friend (even though it doesn't actually stand up to examination for a moment, when you think about it, for the reasons I've mentioned above, among others). My guess is that they're people not making a living from it, but of course I may be wrong about that, and I can't prove it, anyway.
