I'm a newbie and starting my first camping and creating my website. I've identified 3 CB e-books to promote on my site. I'll have reviews and articles related to the products. Here's my question: What is the best way to start a list with CB products? What it looks like to me is when people go to my site, click the link for the products, they would go directly to the CB product sell page. How would I capture (for future back-in sales) each of the potential buyers before they leave my site? I do have a free e-book related to the solution the CB products address. But since buyers can choice to obtain it or not and go directly to the CB product page, I'm not sure what I should do to have a buyer opt-in to capture their address. Thanks for your help. Z |

I would have a simple page with an opt in form with to capture their email addresses, with the incentive of getting a free ebook relating to the solution. Once they've opted in, send them the ebook. If the ebook has a link to the product in, I would probably re-write the ebook (not word for word) and put a link in with your affiliate hoplink in, in place of the link.

Thanks CB, The free e-book is mine, one that I created. I will offer this on the first page of the site, also on the first page will be the other 3 CB e-books. I think I understand what you're saying, put the affiliate hoplinks in my e-book also. But I'm still not sure how I get around capturing each of the buyers who may go directly to the CB products? Thanks |

Hey Zanti... Sounds like a regular squeeze page is just what you need. Once you've got the people on your list, you can give them repeat chances to visit your links and buy the products. -David Raybould |

I would just put an opt-in form for the free e-book as a pop over or somewhere prominent on the front page, then at the bottom of each article and review page (in case they come directly to that page through SEO). Make sure it is relevant to the CB products (subject wise) and you should start getting some opt-ins. You could also create a short 6-7 part mini e-course (break your e-book down into multiple parts) to get them to opt-in as well. This seems to work a little better than a free e-book and it gets the customers used to getting e-mails from you. |

Thanks for the replies everyone. Woody, I'm thinking your suggestion would work for me. Because of the sensitive nature of the products and articles a typical squeeze page would not be appropriate. Creating a mini-course from my e-book can work. My e-book is less than 10 pages so I'm thinking a 5 day mini-course can be created from it. Thanks |
