I'm having trouble with niche selections and affiliate programs. Help!

So earlier this week, I decided to choose personal development as my main market. I went further and decided to choose the Law Of Attraction as my target niche.

This was going fine until I decided to search for affiliate programs. I searched in JVzoo, Payspree, PayDotCom, PayGear and many other marketplaces and found zero or very little products on this niche.

On the other hand, there were loads of products in the IM niche - thousands of 'em.

I wasn't sure what I had to do. I took the advice of fellow wf members and decided on the niche I was passionate about. But the niche I chose had very little products.

So I was thinking, it could be a good idea to switch to the IM niche. It's profitable, and there are tons of products to choose from and promote.

Should I just switch to the IM niche? If not, do you know any marketplaces with a good number of products on the LOA niche?

I'm only a newbie to internet marketing so I'm lost.

Sorry if my message was a bit confusing . Thanks in advance, guys.

The thing about the IM niche is that is that EVERY LEVEL of it is completely overrun with people desperate to make money online... especially people at the beginner level. I want you to read your own post and see if it seems to you as if the OP(you) is simply looking for a quick fix, or way to cut corners. I mean what can you offer to people that thousands upon thousands of other IM newbies in every tiny micro niche within IM can not?

That's very good advice. One need to be very creative to become successful.

      @ OP
you need to consider the above advice. ALways ask yourself on what new and creative you can offer... something which others are not offering yet.

      Good Luck

Natural Hypnosis is another one you might consider. https://www.naturalhypnosis.com/affiliate-program/

They have a good amount of products dealing with LOA so it's another tool people can use to help speed up results.

I was also going to mention Mind Movies but that's already listed above. If I think of any others I'll post back.

      All the best,

    Hi Norah,

I was reading your post and thinking why not create your own product. It would be very easy to do and you can sell it, doesn't have to be expensive even $7 for a PDF guide on the topic of your niche would be great. You can then list it with JVzoo and promote it through their affiliate platform. If that is successful you can make it into a bigger product and promote it through clickbank after that. But first start small and work your way up. It wouldn't take much for you to create a simple PDF guide covering this topic and creating quality content for it. You should give it a shot. The path less often travelled can be the most rewarding.

It may not have been what you were asking for, but it's still great advice. When you find a niche that is profitable but very few products in it, you should look at that as a great opportunity to create your own product that other people can promote - assuming you know enough about the subject of course.

You may be able to find some stuff in Amazon as well...CD or DVD box sets, books etc. The commissions may not be stellar but it's something else you can consider promoting in an email autoresponder sequence or writing a review on your site about the product.

One more thing I meant to mention is when you checkout some of these affiliate programs, you might want to get on their regular email lists if you can and see what they are promoting. Since they are already neck deep in the market already, you'll get some great info that way too and probably learn about many more good products out there.

Also, watch how they are promoting it and things they are saying to get you to click through to the affiliate offers and how effective you think it is. Then you can kind of model your promotions after what you like and think might be effective.

    Hope that helps too.

As a newbie you should not target IM niche IMO... Its a competitive niche... Ad there are superb marketers who do know what they are doing in this niche...

Availability of products should not be the constrain... In personal development niche there may not be good products in javzoo or CB but there are good products in the internet.

There are great authors in this niche.. Tie with them and become their aff. Search Amazon. There are many good authors, websites in this niche..

Why not create your own product and sell it? If you don't want to create it you can consider using PLR content. You can edit, tweak and brand it to make it your own. You can find great personal development PLR content at PLR.me.
