It is too short period to tell whether it is good or bad. There is some progress, but is it sustainable or not? We can see in in a couple of weeks or one month.
BTW what sort promotion have you done? What`s your webstore niche?

Home decorating items bounce rate is visible in the image.

That one screen is only a part of the picture but some things that jump out at me is:

      1) Site has an average bounce rate of 79% which is SUPER bad.
      2) Current listed bounce rate is 45% which is kind of bad, but much better than 79%
      3) Page views, and duration is going up.
      4) Traffic is very spotty.

So it seems like the site started off quite bad, but is slowly getting better.

Some things to look at, check out the visitor flow took and see what path users are taking in your site.

Check out the exit pages and try to figure out what is causing people to leave

Check out the landing page and try to figure out whats caucusing that bounce rate.

Check out the traffic sources section and see where your traffic is coming from.

i said 7 seconds but meant 7 minutes..... sorry. 7 minutes is way too short. my average time on my sites were 35 minutes.

I am not a pro when it comes to reading analytics. But is seems like your traffic is continuing to grow. Keep doing whatever you are doing, it seems to be working.

For the site only being a month old, with no promotions at all, seeing even a small amount of growth is a pretty good thing. Imagine what you could do with a little promotion!

      Good.

Now promote it more to get even more targeted traffic so you can make more sales As simple as that.

looks good to me. You have to promote it more. However, i am also trying to figure out ways to generate traffic.

The bounce rate is really high. However, some people confuse bounce rate with exit rate. A bounce rate can occur by also using the back arrow to leave the site. Some of which could easily occur by accident.
I owned 4 web stores and sold them 6 years ago.... well Im telling a half truth. I sold one of them that was set up different then the other 3. The other 3 I was using a China based drop shipping company and It was great for about 2 years. I made THOUSANDS of dollars a month. However, one day the company stopped shipping (So I refunded $3,000.00 from my pocket to make things right for people) I tell you this in hopes that if you are using a drop shipping company you will be cautious. This may not even be relevant in your case, not sure what type of store you have.

I mentioned the bounce rate earlier I see the average visitor is only 7 seconds. No that's not good at all.
If you are selling tangible items you may run a promotion on one item set the cost at below your cost so you loose a few dollars BUT only limit the Items to a few available. Run the promotion wording on the front page to look through the store for BELOW cost deals... be honest say Im selling several items at a loss but you have to search for them. Simple, yet effective..... was for me anyway. I hope this helps!

I can tell you that to make a few sales I need thousands of visits per day and at least 1,000 unique viewers. Most will kick the tires and buy zero. Hey, it really is a numbers game. Reminds me of selling cars. What you need is to create content and then work on getting more traffic on social media sites such as pinterest, flickr, and xanga.

Forget about myspace. They will soon join Microsoft DEAD spaces. Also, I do not use Google minus any more.
