Question About Building List In Relationship Niche

Hi,

so I want to build an email list in the relationship niche. I have $1k to spend on paid traffic. I think POF and facebook would be the best for this though. But arn't the clicks going to cost a lot since this is so competitive? I know this niche is profitable but just seems like everyone is doing it. Im worried im going to have to spend a fortune just to get some clicks. Anyone tried facebook or plenty of fish for this niche? Thanks

I have heard that POF is a good place to go for the relationship niche. Why don't you try and find a less competitive market or drill down in the niche and find some good keywords that have decent traffic and are less competitive?

I think pof would be better for the money. Remember though, what you want to do is like ppc and so forth, takes alot of testing to get the right conversions. So don't just dump your money in a campaign and think that will pay off.

Do you know the image to your ad is more important that what the ad states?

Go pof first, stay away from fb at first, on a good ad cost can eat you. Pof is the training ground, you find some thing that works there it will work on fb. The problem is getting the image okayed. Try one that has been used in the past and your ad won't be approved but it has to be funny, provocative or teasing.

      What hustlinsmoke said.

The thing about Facebook is that there is a ton of "noise" and from testing, the conversions aren't very easy to tweak if you're just starting out. It just might work for FB, but you're going to need to be more targeted demographically to avoid losing money.

Another way: Contact clickbank vendors/find on google some email list owners. Ask them if they can send an email to their lists with your link. (as affiliate/percentage/upfront fee) Since they're more targeted, you might have a higher chance of conversions.

And also just do like ten ads at first to see what gets approved and you can modify later, easier to modify than to get approved. Just put your settings really low so the testing doesn't cost you that much.
