Videos on Digital Access Pass site?

Hey guys, has anybody used DAP for a video site.. and if so how did you find adding vids to the platform?

I'm told it doesn't have a built in video player, so how did you get your vids to play? Was it a case of having to install Jplayer / additional software separately?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't use dap any longer but I did. Use a plugin for the player, flow or whatever you want. Also I use amazon s3.

I do know it wasn't hard getting videos on there.

I'm thinking of not even using amazon s3 any longer. You know I still see my vids being pirated and I'm paying the bandwidth cost for them to pirate them. I mean anyone can use camstudio, camtasia or a number of programs and do a screen capture of a video playing and still get it.

Thanks for making me realize just paying for nothing.

Yeah, that's a concern Hustlin.. I came across the extra plugin a few days ago.. the upfront cost isn't an issue considering how much would be saved from pirate downloads over the years.

So what I'm really after man is something that I can hit the ground running with... quick set up and has the features I need all ready to use. DAP looks ok, but Amember might just win it for me thanks to Flowplayer all ready to use and S3 protection being built in.

Also the fact that Amember encourage you try it before you buy speaks volumes about their confidence in the software.

Thanks very much man, looking at Amember at the mo which seems to be able to handle, play and protect video without the need for additional software or plugins.

DAP is a membership script. It locks your website but your website is to be first created by you. That's how majority of membership scripts work. You create your site using whatever you like and then the membership script locks the site and allows people to login and access the content.

So if you want videos on your site that isn't really anything to do with DAP. That's something you would add to your site the same way you would if it were just a regular site.

However the DAP unlimited license does come with a free version of their $97 Amazon S3 video plugin: WordPress Video Plugin and Video Player For Amazon S3 - Adding the 4th S to S3 - For "Security"

Both dap and amember are great, I have those and a slew of others. The thing is sounds like your a lot like me. We have too many things that can do the same thing.
I know optimize press and profits theme would suffice for you but also you will need a great theme and easy to work with.

Seriously I have uploaded every program I can find on the cloud and it takes over 100 gb of space and not done yet.

    Looking at it
    I think

Do I really need Optimize and profits and the other five sales page programs I have.
Do I really need Dap, amember, emember and the other four programs I have.
Do I really need all 20 squeeze page makers. lol.

Man I have to get a grip somewhere.
