I have a killer package!! What's the best way to get it out to affiliates?

Hi guys,

I have a Learn Guitar course package that I'd like to get out to affiliates so they can sell it. What would be the best way to do that?

JVZOO

I've been using JVZOO for the free service of selling the package and have been making sales through my promotions but that's it. It seems all the affiliates on JVZOO are foreign and may have shady was of promoting products. Also, I seem to get a ton of affiliate requests but upon approval, no one seems to sell...

ClickBank

To me, ClickBank has been the biggest let down of all. The super high fees, the product registration fees, all the hype... I find It's confusing to navigate through the members area, I have a 70% commission on my product and no one has sent me any requests on selling it, and it was a bitch to set up. I can't believe clickbank is THE "Number 1" way that people say to promote or sell your product through affiliate sales... Anybody having similar issues?

E-junkie

I was using E-junkie for a while, it was very easy, but I didn't like the 15$/mo fee to use. I didn't really get any affiliate requests with it, I just made the sales that I was promoting myself.

Are there any other ways you would recommend to allow affliliates to sell my product. I really do believe it is a great product and it sells great off my youtube and website promotions...

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

JT

Why not try WSOPro, part of Warriorplus.com? WSO Pro - The all-in-one WSO sale, delivery and management system | WarriorPlus

Any platform is going to cost you but that is all part of getting affiliates!

Another is clicksure.com, I've not used it myself so cannot make any comments.

  • From the sounds of your post, you seem to have many reasons as to why 3 of the popular platforms amongst marketers don't work or won't work for you. (shooting yourself in the foot while trying to run). This is probably your biggest issue and maybe something to work on if you want to be successful. Blaming the lack of affiliate requests on a marketplace platform is not the answer. It's your job to find them. Find out who are promoting your competitors guitar course products, and approach them. However, you quickly find that the successful products and serious affiliates use Clickbank for the most part.

    Good luck.

When it comes to recruiting affiliates it's all about "exposure"...

I did a training session for my list recently on this topic, it should help you...

    Good luck!

Why can't you believe that? Because YOU haven't had success with it?

Did you ever consider for a moment that the reason you haven't had success yet might have little to do with which affiliate platform / payment processor you use, but everything to do with your product / sales copy / sales funnel / and overall marketing plan?

If you truly do have a "killer" product in a hungry niche that has already been proven to convert well, with a nice payout to affiliates... you should have no trouble at all attracting good affiliates.

But (good) affiliates don't normally take chances on brand new products without a proven "track record" (and a handful of sales that you generated yourself via YouTube videos or forum posts isn't a "track record").

    So make sure you have...

    * A truly quality product (we all like to think that each of our products are going to turn the world upside down, but unfortunately that's not always the case -- so it's good to have a LOT of feedback from unbiased reviewers / beta testers before you come to any conclusions as to how "killer" your product is).

    * Good, high-converting sales copy, and a low refund rate

    * A good sales funnel, with multiple commission opportunities for your affiliates

    * Meaningful conversion stats (PPC campaigns, media buys, broadcasts to your lists, etc).

    * Another nice thing to have is a decent selection of "copy and paste" content for your affiliates (banner ads, text ads, email swipe, etc). And tips / tricks for promoting your product. You want to make it as easy for your affiliates as possible.

There are a gazillion products for sale on CB now, so you really need to have your ducks in a row in order to "stand out" from the crowd and attract the better affiliates. It's a LOT of work to do it right, but it is very much worth it. And I agree with stoltingmediagroup that CB's fees are a total non-issue. In my opinion... for what they provide, it's an awesome deal.

Don't rely on anyone to recruit your affiliates for you. It's up to you to test your conversion rates and then contact people who are promoting similar products and see if they'll promote yours too.

Look for blogs, and especially Guitar Learning niche sites that have an email optin and start contacting the owners.

There's no easy way around you... you gotta get out there and network.

I have to agree with Brandon. Lots of people are successful with clickbank so it's unfair to say the problem is with the network. Do you set up a website and then just hope the traffic comes? Probably not. The same is true of affiliate networks. Your product is there so affiliates can find it, but they have no reason to choose your product.

My advice to get affiliates is to contact websites in your niche and offer a review copy so they can decide if they want to promote it or not. Tell them about the product and prove that it's great and valuable.

To me it sounds like you're expecting the affiliates to come rolling in once you put the product on the network, but ask yourself, why should they?
