I have a list of 500 niche specific subscribers... How can I make money better off them?

Hi again guys,

I have an e-mail list of 500 subscribers. Is there a WSO, free guide or website that will help me with how I can make more money off them?

My list is slowly building by the day and I use get response which has a 15$ /mo fee. I need to make this list pay for istelf and then some. I will occasionally discount my product and send it out to the list and it converts well.

I'd like to start doing sales pitches for 10% to 20% of the e-mails I send out. Is that a good percentage?

What do you think about applying as an affiliate on JVZOO, ClickBank and E-junkie to sell other related products in my niche?

What would you recommend so that I can get the most out of my list?

Thanks guys any help is appreciated

Also, my opinion is that you shouldn't advertise something "everybody" else can. Like clickbank or so. Increases competition and decreases the chances of your leads buying anything from you.

if you could 'spill the beans' regarding your niche, then we may have a better chance to help you with suggestions

I remember my beginnings when I 'discovered' some niche that I imagine nobody else knew about and I was so afraid to discuss about it ) but this is not the case I'm guessing.

I'm going to go the other route with this and tell you that promoting JVZoo and ClickBank products may be what you need. That's because fresh products emerge there every day and that's what your subscribers are off to.

Also, managing to make sales is about building trust - who cares that there are others promoting a certain product ? if loyal your subscribers see an honest review from you, they'll probably purchase through your aff link. But did you notice the main word in this paragraph ? (LOYAL)

Thanks for the input Flavius. My niche is the Learning to play guitar and Guitar playing niche.

Right now I send out a weekly e-mail updating my subscribers of the lessons I had just posted up on youtube. I also give good guitar playing advice and offer my help. Loyalty is everything to me so I would really like to keep that but at the same time would like to profit off my list too. I've heard 500 and growing subscribers is a good number and getresponse month aint cheap!!!

    Any other ideas? Thanks!

It sounds as if you are already providing good value. Keep doing this, and add in a few promotional emails. For example you could review a paid for training product - there are definitely good products in this niche out there, Clickbank would be a good place to start.

You could also join Amazon's affiliate program and make recommendations on instruments, accessories etc.

If you build a good relationship with your list in this niche, there are a lot of possibilities.

I like how Alexa views it. It is better to think in terms of how can I fill a need and create an interest and desire rather than how can I make money off of them. You are on the right track though.

Wrong question, maybe? The right question (that brings you more money, too) might be "How can I provide better value for them?".

Have you ever made money with your list? What's your sales page, and a sample of the emails that you are sending to your list?

I gotcha. Yeah, sorry, I didn't want to sound stupid like I want to take advantage of the people on my list... I just want to be able to offer them good products that WILL benefit them more and help them, not just crap. I really don't want to sound like I'm taking advantage of them...

I just feel like the guy in town with the best hamburger shop and my regulars (ie. subscribers) know it but I'm only charging a $1 for my burgers... See my point? I won't be able to help these people much longer if I can't afford to pay the monthly fees associated with the services I need to deliver them great info.

    Thanks for the input

I like the Amazon affiliate program idea alot. That sounds like a good idea. I also have learned through this forum today that on ClickBank, afilliates won't always come to you but sometimes you must go to them. I just wish clickbank was more user friendly. I feel like the design is complicated to figure out without f-ing something up...

    Thanks!

Yes I have. I feel my page page converts pretty good. Here's my sales page which is the end of the line for my sales funnel... - teachmeguitar.guitarmadeez.com

Here's a sample of my weekly e-mail... I basically give the subscriber updates of the brand new lessons I just posted, guitar help, helpful ideas and exercises, etc.

    check it out...

This is my Sales Pitch example (Where ive only sold my own product) I've only done this once and it was this past 4th of july. This one was pretty successful.

    Check it out...

Please let me know what you think

    Thanks friends
