Attaching store to wordpress blog

Is there a way to put a store on a wordpress site? I have an NFL tailored blog that i want to sell football related memorabilia. I do not want my affiliate banners off to the right and i don't want highlighted words that links to affiliate offers in my blog post. You can check it out if you want to. I am sorry if I talk bad about your favorite teams.

You can use an ecommerce theme that handles both the 'regular blog' and the ecommerce section. Search online for the right configuration that matches your needs. You might need to tweak them a bit.

Surprised I didn't see any football fantasy stuff in your site

If your not stuck on this theme you could change over to a ecommerce solution and blog. If you like your current theme you could just create sale pages and link them to a checkout or add a ecommerce plugin. I would go with the later as if keeps your site looking the same as it is now.

Let me know if you need more help

I like Shopify. You can create a separate store and link your WordPress site to it, or move it onto your own web host - after building it at Shopify.

No, I'm not an affiliate. But I've used Shopify and I like it a lot.

    There are two options.
    1. Make a sub domain that works as an entirely different website (which means you wouldn't have to stick with wordpress)
    2. Use an e-commerce solution. Use a *plugin* NOT a different theme. Too many people try to use themes as a tool that a plugin should be used for.

I recommend woocommerce. It's free, though you will probably want to buy some additional add-ons. Which there are plenty of since it is so versatile.

Some cause-oriented hackers recently hacked one of my websites. So I researched what they're about and then donated a large sum of money to the entity they hate the most.

The next time they hack one of my websites I'm going to donate DOUBLE.

I use Woocommerce which is both an ecommerce site and a Wordpress blog already combined.

Another vote for WooCommerce. It should fit right into the "Mall" section of your site.
