Why is twitter redirecting my links?

INTERNET MARKETING

Just in the past week or so every time I post a new link on twitter it posts a redirect from tinyurl or something else instead of my actual url. It never did that before, and it is doing it for my squidoo and blogger sites.

WTF!?!?

if your URL is too Long, Twitter "HELPS" you by automatically shortening your URL to free up space in your 140 characters

  Twitter announced that they plan to start indexing urls in tweets and that will resolve the url from the shortened one.
  
  It is too bad that shorten automatically, otherwise it might be great for seo when you consider Twitter.com has over 74 million pages indexed and growing.

Yes Twitter Mask your URL so they can be shorter. You can also use services like tr.im to mask them yourself and track how many people clicked on your link.
