Where to buy domain names with good pagerank?

Can someone tell me where to buy domain names with high PR. Also, i will like to know, whats the fair cost of buying PR3,4,5,6,7,8,9 domain names?

Is there a guide available, which can tell me how to get pagerank for my new blog? Like, pr o to pr 5 in 2 months

Pagerank is assigned to pages, not domains, so buying domains with Pagerank will typically end up with the domain losing that pagerank by the next update. In addition, there's a ton of people who know how to fake pagerank and it of course will be lost soon after the domain is sold to an unsuspecting customer.

Pagerank is assigned to pages. Not domains.

Guide to buying domains with pagerank:
      Don't

If you want pagerank, build sites with lots of good unique content and maybe Google will assign some of the pages with pagerank, or buy an existing website with pages that have pagerank.

    Hi RestlessBlaze,

Where to buy them: I get all mine through GoDaddy Auctions.

How to get pagerank for your new blog: Get some backlinks from high PR domains.

Sorry I can't give you a pricing guide because it varies. Sometimes I pay $120 for a pr5, sometimes I pay $350. I also bought a pr2 recently for $400 so it's really different every time.

I wouldn't do it. Here's why. The pagerank is assigned to pages, as I've mentioned and that comes about by people or sites with good pagerank linking to your pages on a website. Once the domain has expired or the content removed, those backlinks are no longer relevant. They no longer link to anything. Google will figure that out by the next update, so the money you spent for pagerank alone is wasted. I'm sure some disagree, but I've bought my share of domains with pagerank only to find it disappeared within a month on the ones I bought and some were just flat out fake pagerank. I wasn't aware of the fake pagerank sellers at that time.

    so, i learnt three things

    1) I should buy website with high pr. Not domain name.

    2) The price vary with lot of differet factors.

    3) Godaddy seem like preferred option for marketplace.

Anyone want to add something, please feel free to add.

    thanks

    Hi Restless!
Idk, what you need good pagerank for exactly, buy I guess that you can't just buy it and match for your needs. I'm talking about site here, not domain- as said, domain has not a pagerank per se.
I think the only way here is to start building your own site, exactly what for you need it and invest to building that's pagerank. Invest on quality content, invest on linkbuilding, invest in list building, whatever you need.

Simply, to get pagerank, you must do something that Google likes. To get higher pagerank, you must do it a hell of a lot more
Quality, unique site's content is first step, then you need to get this site out there- social media for an example is a good boost for Google... and so on, this is a lot of work actually... But in a month of a hard work, from PR0 to PR2 for example, isn't impossible at all, so.. Godspeed!

ok and there is no guide which teaches this stuff?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[8388582].message }}

Well, the thing is, there's rather too much of them and not all of them teach the same... I don't know, I don't want to be promotional here, but I have followed AffiloBlueprint course for some time, and it teaches, how to build a nice affiliate site which starts naturally gain pagerank pretty well. I'm sure there are others cheaper than that, but I liked that the most...

You can buy domains with pageranks from those parked domains but pagerank is irrelevant once you change the hosting servers.

Godaddy is a great place to buy high PR domains while it's true that you can not guarantee if the PR are real until you carefully analyze them for 301 redirect, quality links and others.

Don't just buy a domain because they are PR3+, there are more fake PR sites than authentic ones.

Domain names worth is going to vary due to different bidders, you can really tell how much something is worth when it's sold on the bases of bidding.

However, the last PR5 I purchase is worth $557 and it's goes more too.

If you want to increase your sites PR then you are going to need flocks of 100% unique and quality high PR sites.

Yes yes, but the point is, that once you've bought it and want to put it in to use, even if there exist some content with that domain, if you change it or build a whole new site to that domain, the odds are very high that pagerank drops dramatically.
Even when so-named pagerank is real, it is calculated by the relevancy given in that certain point of time. Very big influence on PR are backlinks, right? Now, a good backlink has an optimized anchor text, usually a keyword phrase that leads to relevant page, what's usually built on that same key phrase. Now, if we change that content, even when we keep the keyword, Google notices. And it may lower the pagerank if it decides that the relevancy, originality, quality or whatever have dropped in Google's eyes.
Tell me, if I got carried away, but I'd concluded it in that way: You may buy a high PR domain (site), but you cannot guarantee in any way that you can keep that PR. Actually it's kinda likely that it drops soon.

Am I barking under a wrong tree or am I on the right way?

This is Directly sourced from Google...

PageRank may have distinguished Google as a search engine when it was founded in 1998; but given the rate of change Manber describes—launching “about 9 [improvements] per week on the average”—we’ve had a lot of opportunity to augment and refine our ranking systems over the last decade. PageRank is no longer—if it ever was—the be-all and end-all of ranking.
So, as other well informed Warriors have commented, buying a domain with PR, is a waste of money, it is no longer even worth trying to buy it.

The main purpose of me asking this question is link networks. Private link networks are working great for seo. Thats what i get from some of the seoers out there. Now, to build my own private network, i will need high PR domain/sites.

Those who build their link networks. What they do? Ii am sure they are not creating high PR from PR 0. They are either buying sites/buying High pr domains or may be creating their own PR.

    Either way, i see

    1) Lots of people buying links from these link networks

    2) Many seoers telling me that these link networks work in getting high rankings.

They're working great for eventually getting people's sites heavily penalized and even (in some cases) deindexed.

      "Fixed that for you".

Maybe this will help you? http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...ml#post8391863

I think private blog networks are something to avoid like the plague. I know what an unpopular view that is, around here, because of course some are selling services based on exactly that (and some are even quick to try to belittle anyone who understandably questions the wisdom of using them, in the circumstances). But since I've been saying that, on and off, it certainly looks like many people's private blog networks and their sites linked-to by them have indeed been heavily penalized - and I think nobody can really argue with this?

My strong suspicion is that there's going to be "more of the same". There's nothing complicated or convoluted about my reasoning, here: I think that because Google is openly saying that there's going to be "more of the same".

If you're interested in rankings and search engine traffic for your sites, do you think that trying to do something that Google's so actively and outspokenly in the process of stamping out and penalizing is really a sensible/productive long-term (or even short-term!) traffic-generating plan for your business?
