Beginner Marketer? Frustrated?

Hey Warriors,

Hope you're having a great day !!

I'm just doing a little bit of research to learn more
about my niche. If you're new online and/or struggling
to get started...

You'd be doing me a HUGE favor if you could kindly
take a moment to answer a few short questions.

What are you struggling with right now?

What holds you back from reaching your goals?

And what frustrates you about online marketing?

    Hi Kerry,

    I'm new at online marketing also, so your not alone.

    My biggest frustration is getting eyeballs in front of anything. That could be a Blog, offer, affiliate offer, anything really. The hardest thing is getting traffic. And good traffic.

    It seems that you need the money to get the traffic to the offer you are marketing to make money. It seems to be one vicious circle. That answers the frustration part as well.

    Other marketers say get a Mentor. I would, if I had a couple of grand to spend. But if I had that I could perhaps generate enough traffic anyway and then scale up.

    Hope that answers a few of the questions.

      Hey Len, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback.

      Totally hear you. When I first started my online journey in May 2010 traffic was a HUGE problem for me. After spending what little money I had on mentors there was never anything left for quality traffic.

      Even now I know marketers who have awesome products but never get the results they are looking for because traffic is a big problem for them. Very frustrating as you say

    Hi,

    Not a newcomer but I know what holds most people back and that is...

    ...Information Overload!

    I've been there and suffered from it myself.

    Most newcomers and even the ones who have been around for many
    months are not taking any action because they are simply swamped with
    too much information.

    Having a clear plan and then focusing on taking action every single day
    until it happens is the fastest way to see some results.

    Oh and by the way as for the mentor part from the member above...

    ...Success leaves clues.

    There are no secrets just look around and you'll see.

      Thanks for sharing your expertise Gavin.

      Info overload is THE reason I've started over in my online biz. (and a lack of planning in the first place)

      Just recently I learnt a really important skill needed to overcome info overload and that was to 'learn to evaluate the importance of information'.

      Like you said in your reply " Having a clear plan and then focusing on taking action every single day until it happens is the fastest way to see some results. And that includes only consuming the information needed to work that plan.

    Hi Kerry,

    Although these questions do not apply in my current situation right now, I'd just share the common denominator of people whom I spoke with the past when I was encouraging them to try what I did and have been doing. Their common denominator is their lack of perseverance.

    These people I talked to have day jobs. I told them my story that it took me almost three months to earn my first dollar as an online writer. Upon hearing the words "three months", they already made a decision to sleep early that night so they can go back to their day jobs for the assurance of their paycheck every month.

    Nothing.
    And what frustrates you about online marketing?
    Nothing anymore.

    I am very familiar with the exact question, because I was having huge problems when I was starting my online journey years ago. Nowadays I found the right formula and fortunately built my confidence and succeeded in online marketing.

    Information overload, lack of direction, difficulty picking a niche, over-thinking, not taking action, etc.

    I think these are the most common problems that newcomers face when it comes to internet marketing.

    I am not a newcomer but I think my main problem is not taking action or hesitating to take action.
