How Much Of This Wasted Advertising Money Do You See?

Hey Warriors,

I just opened my snail mail for the day, the usual suspects and a few bills, then something funny.

I got an ad piece from AT&T U-Verse wanting me to sign up for their internet, phone and tv package.

All fine and dandy, except...

I'm already an AT&T U-verse customer!

I wonder how many millions of dollars they are wasting every year doing this?

Is it any wonder some of these companies struggle to make a profit, especially in these trying times?

    Get this, we moved into our new house in October 2007, and have received at least 2 pieces of mail every month from AT&T about Uverse, some of them quite elaborate and expensive mailers. So one day I got sick of Comcast, and decided to try Uverse. I called AT&T, and they said my address wasn't in there system, so all I could do is call back in 3 months. WTF, they've been sending me mail for years, but my address doesn't exist according to AT&T.
