The only reason I can think of that FileZilla might not connect is that you either have your credentials entered wrong, or your server as acting up.

In Cpanel, you just go to "File Manager", choose the proper directory to upload to, and click the "Upload" button up top, follow the prompts from there.

It depends totally on your web host...and we don't know which webhost you're using...

The most common causes for this would be incorrect credentials and/or problems on your web hosting service side.

Sometimes it could also be caused by your internet connection quality. (speed and bandwidth.) I've found FileZilla to function a lot better when using SFTP instead of standard FTP. It's also more secure.

    Hope this helps.

It is working fine for me. You might want to check whether your login details is correct or check with your hosting company whether there is any issue.

Have you connected before ok with the same credentials? If you have the FTP service might need to be restarted on your server. If you are on Cpanel and have a WHM account, you may be able to do this when you login if your host allows it. It can be found under Restart Services. If you don't have access, your hosting provider can do it for you.
