No problem that I have heard of. Although in one account today I noticed some stats showing on the dashboard that were not on the transactions page. I've noticed there is a delay some times, but this was a several hour delay. They could be doing updates, but your issue is much too long.

Seems like affiliates/vendors are quick to jump to ClickBank as the one with the issue when sales are slow. However, it's always an issue with your site, the traffic, seasonal, your niche, etc. etc. etc. I would check other things than ClickBank as they're about as reliable as you can get in this business.

Even though I trust in Clickbank, but feel something wrong in Sale tracking, because I see many people get this trouble

    Hi Fienatran,

I'm sorry to hear your sales are down by 50%. Wow, that's a lot!

Everything seems to be about the same for me except from time to time when a sale is made it shows up in transactions a lot sooner than it does on my homepage.

I wish you all the best and hope that your sales pick up.

    - Simon

You will always see fluctuations in your affiliate sales, just give it some time/ride it out until the next upward swing.

We won't see you complaining then.

ClickBank is often testing order forms.

      Per ClickBank regarding Order Forms:
This is something that we frequently do in an effort to continue to help improve order conversion rates for the products that vendors sell through ClickBank. Often, we’ll test elements of the order form and make incremental improvements. With this test, of course, we’re checking to see how a whole new layout of the order page performs. It’s still too early for conclusive results, but the performance is something we closely monitor–as always.

Down by 50% could mean a lot of things.

If you are down from say 2 sales per fortnight to 1, then it may not be statistically significant, just a result of chance.

If you are down from say 20 sales per day to 10, over a whole month, then it will be.

Look up Poisson distribution if you want to do the math yourself for significance testing.

That said there are lots of reasons why sales can drop for a clickbank product that have nothing to with clickbank. Here are three of the most common:

        1. Some products are seasonal, often in unexpected ways. It's not just about christmas and new year, but also weather, news, back to school, start and end of tax/budget years, etc

        2. The SERPS or your competitors in them have changed. People look around more than most of us realise before buying. If you have a new competitor, or free competitor, or an existing competitor now outranks you, it can cost you sales.

Consider example if you are say 2 or 3 in google, and the rest of 1 to 10 are not competitors or are weak. If google now changes SERPS, to add good competitors in the top 10, especially above you, your traffic may not change much, but your sales certainly will.

        3. Piracy: if your product is being pirated more now than previously, or more easily, then it will cost you. For example if your thank you page, or discussion and a link to it from a black hat forum has been indexed by google, you will see a drop in sales.

There are always fluctuations and I think weekends can be better but only Alexa Smith can confirm you this. I don't know how affiliate sales on clickbank are supposed to be or fluctuate.

Yup, huge drop in sales here as well.
I do see something that others do not (as a vendor)
which is a big decrease in order form submits vs actual sales.
Anyone ever checked the ratio on a regular basis?

The percentage fluctuates and at times that the sales are down
there is usually a drop in the Sales Vs Submits ratio.
For example, today this ratio is around 24%
I.E for every 4 order form submits there is one sale!
the usual number fluctuates between 40-50%.
I also see a vast difference in this ratio as an affiliate to different products.
Some products have a 80-90% ratio while others may have 40% or even lower.

At times when my sales are down i always check to see if the ratio has changed.

Order form submit (now named "order form server calls")= customer input their details in the order form and hit the submit button.

      P.S
Regardless, summer is good for family and friends but usually very crappy for marketers

My Clickbank earning always fluctuates typically as the seasons change. Check to see if your order form click percent is the same. If so your okay.... It may be a traffic problem.
