I'm preparing to launch a new WSO (it's a 4000 word+screenshots and images guide to building and ranking your affiliate websites) and I've made $400+ in 1 month using the system (20 minutes of work per week but the system can be outsourced entirely if you want like I do). The SEO methods within can be used for any website and I have not found them being used anywhere here (it does NOT involve spam or other black hat techniques!) but it gets both short term and long term SEO results and is completely white hat.
I honestly think that my WSO provides a great value (and have received feedback from others on the forum telling me so as well) but since it is my first WSO I am thinking of pricing it as a dimesale starting from $2 to build my list (or some other small price+a $4-$7 OTO that is helpful but not in any way necessary to succeed).
What is your experience pricing your WSOs, and if you have any other tips related to launching your first WSO they would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Alex.

If you really want to build your list, pricing your front end at $1 is a great way to do it. You can then offer the upsell for $7. If you have a good sales copy and full reviews of the guide, you should have no problem justifying the $40 fee to post your WSO. However, you will have a hard time attracting affiliates to a $1 product, so you'll have to promote the product yourself. Best of luck!

I've read a couple of big WSO sellers say that $5 or $4.95 is almost as effective as a lower price and makes enough money to cover ad costs and then some, and builds a good list. If your offer is compelling enough, even people with little money will pay 5 bucks.

    just a thought...
