Default Quick Question Concerning PLR

I have written an ebook for a very good niche and would now like to offer PLR to it. I have a couple of questions.

1. Can you limit the price that the book can be sold for in the terms.
2. Can you offer two different types of rights such as:
a. Yes, you can change anything (one price)
b. No, you can't change anything (different price)

3. Depending upon the rights can you sell different rights for different prices (see above)?

Thanks

Rick

Hi Rick,

Congratulations on your ebook. PLR can be a good way to go.

Regarding your questions:

1. You can put the conditions in your rights statement, but enforcing it isn't easy. In fact, the more copies of the ebook you sell, the harder it'll be to police. You may need to prepare yourself to give up some control on this point.

2. Yes, you can offer different rights at different prices. Example: sell PLR rights for, say, $100 and sell MRR - master resale rights (or simple resale rights only - whichever fits your plan) - for $50.

3. Not sure how this question differs from number two. If I'm understanding it right, the answer would be just about the same.

Good luck with your project, and please do come back and let us know how it goes for you.

Cheers from warm and smiling Thailand,
Charles

You should probably consult a lawyer to go over the details.

Rick,

Charles summed it up pretty well. If you PM me with a direct email, I will forward a very good guide on the many variables of PLR, MRR, RR, etc. and I'll send a few examples of licenses that stipulate price for the product. Although, it will be hard to enforce here in the States and I think the UK.

However, you can totally control the up front fees for the license to sell PLR/MRR. Let me know if I can assist further?
