Default Research on Desperate Buyer Market

I saw a thread on here a while back that was awesome...

So I started looking into this market a bit more.

Was curious, any other warrriors have a top 3 subject list in this area?

I'm trying to nail down 3 areas to focus on...I have one or two targeted but would love to hear of other's experience on the matter.

Thanks in advance,
Sean

Sorry Sean, I don't follow, not quite sure what you mean. 3 desperate niches?

Yes, that's exactly what I'm referring to.

I'm considering these two:

1) foreclosure avoidance and
2) credit repair

but also trying to figure out which of the following to include in my top 3 list to focus/test market...

* surviving the death of a family member
* how to survive prison
* how to sell your house in a bad market

Of course I know some of these subjects are very sensitive and my goal is to market the best products out there on the topic so as to be of the most service to the audience that will be presented with the information.

Thanks in advance for any feedback/experience you or others have had.

- Sean

Sean,

1. Unemployment. I know so many folks losing their homes right now. Not knowing where the next meal is coming from. Crushed by debt.

They don't want to repair their credit (since no one can get $$ right now). They want to end the nightmare.

2. Divorce. HUGE market. So much emotion. So much heartache. Especially when children are in the mix.

3. Holding the hand of an Alzheimer's family member through their final days.

4. Depression. Really need a doctor for this one, but it's massive.

5. Obesity. Not 5-10 pounds, but 100+ pounds. A lot of insecurity and brokenness in this market.

What do all of these have in common?????

Situations where the person feel they have lost ALL CONTROL. Helplessness. No real answers. Drifting.

Mark Robbins

I focus on ONE online business model - Recurring Revenue (RR). If I can help you in any way just post a RR question or PM me.

Thanks for the input Mark...I'm also trying to research what the 'best' products are to match these topics. So much stuff out there and I don't want to present garbage to those markets for obvious reasons...they need *real* help for sure.

Well, there's always:

1) Guy hanging off the side of a cliff from a rotting tree branch
(Product: Rope)

2) Someone who's highly allergic to bees that just had a hive fall onto his head
(Product: Epinephrine)

However, when talking about desperate markets, don't take the definition of "desperate" literally.

Being literally desperate does not equal being the most profitable.

I'm not looking at this primarily from a profit perspective but rather as a way to be of service to people that need help. I'm sure some of the markets will be more lucrative than others but that is not the main focus of my research here.

Thanks for your feedback though.

Oh! Excellent. I misunderstood the nature of your question.
Carry on...

I have been involved in a particularly desperate section of 'the market' for most of my life.

If you are really wanting to help people I suggest that first you study what it is they suffer from and the effects it has.

One of the most stressful of my occupations (I had to give it up recently because I am no longer resilient enough to take the punishment) was saving the lives and partnerships of a particular group of people faced with the same operation I have had.

I have addressed meetings and spoken with groups with specific problems caused by non-specific circumstances and have always been staggered by the amount of energy this requires. Once you get into these markets, be prepared to dig deep into your emotional bucket and make sure that you can take the pressure - once the pressure gets to be too much, get out.

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more
Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies!

Oh I totally believe it. Thanks for that feedback. One of the elements of promoting any info product on one of these niche markets, would be to clearly interview a few people that have been through x, y or z and had a successful outcome. I'm certain that some of the pain described from any of those situations would be draining if you hold it too closely. I want the focus to be on whatever possible successful outcomes though.
