Do you have a shopping cart set up so you can take payments?? Ya you should start attempting to recruit affiliates to promote for you. And you should test out some paid traffic. Maybe buy a solo ad or two and measure the results. If you have good results you tell affiliates the earnings per click so far.

    Hi,
I think first of all you must to test the organic traffic, I mean the you have to try to advertise for yourself to earn some money as well and because you need to make some money by yourself and later on if you would like invest some money for the affiliate then you can use the JVs site ...

And if your pages are about teaching people how to make money online then you have to know yourself how to make money online first and then to teach people

I hope my opinion helped you,

    For your Success

Find a very popular competing product. Take note of the website URL.

Go to Alexa - The Web Information Company and search for that website's URL and take note of the demographics that visit the website. This is your target market.

Go to Facebook and create an ad that targets the competing site's demographic.

Here's a decent article on writing an Ad. There are better ones by Perry Marshall.

Make sure you track conversions to see which ads work and ditch the losers.

I made it sound easy...it's not. Once you get a winning campaign, though, you can scale and increase profits quickly.

You also won't lose 6 months of time attracting "free traffic". You'll know pretty quickly if it sinks or swims.

What's the biggest word in marketing?

    Answer?

    Test.

You've got to test your copy.

Don't think that just because you've got a sales letter and VSL up that you just need affiliates and the money will start pouring in.

    Be methodical.

Test your copy - using a bunch of wildly different sources, like:

    PPC (Adwords.)

Buy a few solo ads. (Approach a few owners who are converting in your niche and ask them to buy a spot on their list.)

    YouTube.

Forums. (Position yourself as an authority.)

Get interviewed by someone with clout.

    Blah Blah Blah...

    The bottom line is...

You have a TON of work to do - BEFORE you should even start thinking about getting affiliates to pimp your sh!t out.

Take the time-honored steps of testing your stuff, prove it converts... then the right people will come.

    If it doesn't convert...

    Well...

    That's a whole other conversation.

Mark hit it on the nose. You've gotta buy ads. This being your first time around the block, no JV would consider mailing for you. Not only must you prove you have a winner, you've got to build a relationship with potential JV's. They get bombed all day with requests to mail.

And don't waste time on organic traffic until you've targeted keywords with paid ads. It will cost more down the road in lost time or hiring an SEO person.

Contact some authorities in your niche and send them free/discounted review copies. Use their reviews to add to your credibility when you sell to the public

when you have all those stuff in place, now it's time for promotion.
The heavier promotion, the better. If you do no promotion, your sales page etc will be a waste. Start promoting it, writing articles, etc.
When it comes to promotion, you'll have to do massive promotion. Over and over again, everyday. That's the only way. =)
Free and paid promotion, you know what to do from here.

Well personally I do believe JVs are the best way to go...But as Mark and Don already put it, it isn't easy if you've not already built up your rep. The trick here is to offer something to your JV partner that he or she cannot resist...How do you do that? Exclusivity for him or her? 100% commission? I cant say for sure. Go get in touch with some of the already more established marketers. Talk to them. You might just find some unexpected gold.

Networking is a big part of the game in IM.

Of course, if you've got some spare cash you can always go for paid traffic. Learn and read extensively on your chosen method though. Test sparingly and never play more than you can lose.

If you ask me, I would say all of the methods of traffic generation and sales work. You just have to find one that works best for you. Once you find one that works well, focus on it and scale.

Just my two cents worth though...hope it helps

A contest will usually work but you probably don't want to give 100 percent with a contest. I either give 100 percent on FE or the contest.
Remember don't think in terms of making money on the launch up front, think of earning the list and the money will come later. If you have a list of buyers and they get the right offer, they will buy again.

Do you have your sales funnel setup? Have you considered upsells and downsells?

I would also go the free route to get traffic to my site.

IMHO, the best way to get sales is to recruit affiliates to promote your product, and Clickbank has one great marketplace to do that.

Hopefully you found a good niche before you created the info-product. But that's another topic.

It's time to start marketing. Get it listed on Clickbank and Paydotcom. Sign up for Adwords and Bing Ads. See if solo ads exist for your niche/product. Setup a squeeze page and generate email subscribers. Put some free marketing in the mix too.

You can list your product on an affiliate platform like JVzoo and then create an affiliate page for your product., go out network and recruit affiliates and then launch your product on a platform like warrior forum etc.

    Hi,
I hope you spent a sufficient amount of time on your product making it AWESOME!
There is so much junk on the net and you don't want to end up in that pile.
There is a lot of good advice here on this forum.
Your product needs to have a ton of value and be well written, unless it's a piece of software.
    Good luck!

Create a youtube promo! This is how I got started. I created a youtube promo during fleet week when it was very noisy outside. I just wanted to see if people were interested. The video wasn't that great but it generated a lot of interest! [Also known as testing, making sure there is a niche], in fact I did not create a single piece of my product until I made sure there was a market for it.
Then, I got some nice headphones, mic etc, created a great quality video - posted it on a few sites, and man the emails started pouring in. While that was happening, I stayed home probably for two weeks just creating and creating non stop! In the first month I generated sales.
What I am saying is that once I verified there was a market, I invested wholeheartedly in creating an awesome product that I knew with my unique teaching style and field expertise would help people. You can do this too! You already have the product which is steps ahead of the game... so now its all about testing and tweaking!
Message me, I'll share what I know. Good luck!

I will personally drive some traffic to the sales page so that I will be able to know the conversion of the products. The last thing that I will want to do is to get the affiliates to promote a product that is not getting any good conversion for them.

They will not be happy and it might be the last time that they will want to promote your product. There are lots of great advice provided by the other Warriors and I will say just choose of some and just start implementing it.
