Squeeze page , wordpress and autoresponder !

Hello fellow warriors , how are you all doing ? I hope everybody is fine

I would love to ask you all a few questions , issues I have in my first attempt to build my list , my questions are related to technical side of the thing .

1- I made a squeeze page using wpoptins and here it is " This is just the a test page, not the one I'm going to use and it doesn't have an optin form "

My question is , how can I make it on my main domain , I mean I want it to be on strong-existence.com , how can I make that happen ? I heard about 301 redirection but I don't know what does that mean ! + I don't want to make a blog , this means all what I want is a squeeze page in my main domain, I can put the blog empty on my domain . com /something , this means that people won't know what that " something " is , in other word they can't access to it .

2- How can I make a Thank you page on wordpress ? and make it invisible until somebody puts their e-mail and click on the instant access , you know what I mean .

3- which autoresponder should I use ? I've seen lately here in the warriorforum some people complain about Aweber , they said that their services stopped for a while and things like that , do you guys still have this problem with Aweber ?

I hope you all guys help out through my struggles in my first attempt at Internet marketing

    When you're on the dashboard of your Wordpress site, click the Settings Tab on the left of the screen, then click on Reading. Click the "Static Page" option, and there you can select the page you want to be your domain's main page.

    You can create a Thank You page by simply creating a new page from the left hand side of your dashboard screen. When you set up your autoresponder, there will be a field that will ask you what url you want your new subscribers to be redirected to, so that is where you will enter your Thank You page url.

    As for the autoresponder company, there are a few good ones out there. I use aWeber, and have never had any issues with them. Plus your first month is only $1, so you can try it out and cancel if you don't like it.

    The directions for making this a static page are great - and without navigation on that first page, most people can't get to your other page. Create that page for Thank You AND because you won't be using the back side of the blog you can also create other bonus pages you might need and that you don't want navigation to.

    I use Aweber and have been using them for 6 years without complaint or concern. I think you'll find that all companies will have their good days and bad days, have advantages and disadvantage and programs you like and don't like. For me Aweber provides everything I want . . . do your research and pick and choose.

    Thanks GailTrahd , Do you mean I'll create a thank you page and then make it a Static page yes ?

    Another question that cames to my mind now is , can I make more squeeze pages using the same domain , I mean making them all static pages and each one with it's own /nameoftheniche , is that possible ?

      Yes you can do that. For example, say your domain is Example Domain. You can have a squeeze page set up on that domain.

      Then, if you wanted to make another squeeze page, you can make one on the url www.example.com/niche.

      You can do that for as many niches as you wish.

    I also give up with aweber and use a simple autoresponder. As I'm newbie i feel aweber take time to be understand. Even basic setup drive me crazy (mybe i have no experience) Lucky i found a better solution.
    But most of ppl using aweber for their IM.

      "Static Page" means your website's home page, so you can only have one static page on your website.

      You can make thank you pages for each of your squeeze pages without having to make them a static page. I'm not familiar with the plugin you are using, but you I know you don't need to use the plugin to make a thank you page. When you log into your wordpress dashboard, in the menu on the left hand side of the screen is a button labeled "Pages". Simply click that button, and a list of your website's pages will come up. From there, you can create your custom thank you page.

      When you integrate your autoresponder with your squeeze page on aWeber, there is a field that will have you enter the url to your thank you page. So every time someone opts in to your squeeze page, they will automatically be taken to the thank you page.

    To get it on the main page of your domain you need to re-install Wordpress on the root of your domain. You currently have Wordpress installed at yourwebsite.com/wp. So the homepage of that site will always be yourwebsite.com/wp. You instead need to remove that installation and reinstall Wordpress in the root.

    The optin form isnt working on the squeeze page i dont see it... and the book cover is too large the optin form should be above the fold.

    Find a squeezepage you like and reverse engineer it.

    Also if you find that you don't have the technical skills then either buy a product to teach the basics or hire someone who can do it for you.
