Internet marketing traffic vs traffic in other niches

Hi, this is Max. I know you can't say that traffic in internet marketing niche converts better or worse than in health niche for example. Everything depends on the marketing techniques you use. Some people implement specific marketing methods in internet marketing niche and fail, then do the same in a different niche and win or the other way around. It also depends on the products they create or pick up to promote.

However, is there a way to find out in what niche it's easier to get traffic, sign ups and buyers from the global experience of the leading marketers of multiple industries? Are there results of any global researches, pols or something that reveals these facts? Any reliable source of this information?

I need to know something like "if you go to niche A you'll have to work twice as much as in niche B for the same results because traffic in niche A converts almost 50% less on the average".

May be I should do my own research to see how products convert in various niches learning stats in affiliate networks? May be some other kind of research?

Please, help me, I'm comparing internet marketing, dating and health niches. I want to concentrate on one of them.

What's your experience converting traffics in these niches?
Is it right that internet marketing traffic is harder to convert?

Thanks.
Best regards.

Try the niches you want to get involved in and focus on whichever one makes you the most money from the same amount of effort or less.

There are niches that are more profitable than the make money space.

You just have to find your sweet spot.

Most of the money I make currently is in a niche far far away from making money.

The conversions are high. The refunds are low.

Only you can figure out which will work best for you.

Thanks. Unfortunately I'll lose a lot of time and money before I make a conclusion on my own. Sad.

Your conversions all depend on your product, copywriting, design, etc. You just can't say some niche converts better than another niche, because it's like comparing apples and oranges.

I've dealed with tons of niches, and I can safely say that as long as you're within the top 3 evergreen markets (Health, wealth and lifestyle), you're going to find tons of competitors competing for profits. From then on, it's all a matter of targeting, segmenting and right positioning.

You don't have to start from ground zero. Major competitors "steal" from each other all the time. For example, the weight loss infoproducts mostly switched over to whiteboard videos because they converted better... following the lead of one market leader. Basic economics.

If you want to find out easily... Then try and get a slice of how things convert. Start by either being an affiliate... setting up prospect research avenues like interviews or surveys... Get metrics like search volumes, purchases, etc.

Which one do you have more interest in doing? Are you able to get a good product going? What are your strengths? Go from there. No one can choose a route for you.

      Max,

You're asking a good question because you don't want to "spin your wheels" going into a niche where conversions are difficult.

Unfortunately, I don't think anyone can answer your question with any assurance because it's impossible to compare conversions only from one niche to the next.

Conversions depend upon audiences, offers, products, and marketing and there is really no way to compute a niche average let alone trying to compare one niche to another. Who keeps that type of information? No one.

People may have a "hunch" or a gut feeling about their own experience in conversions in one niche compared to another, but no one is going to be able to give you any hard facts relating to niche comparisons.

The best way to compare niches is to dig in, try out each niche you want, and then form your own opinion.

I will tell you that anyone on this forum who says one niche is better than another for conversions is only giving you their own opinion based on their experience. And that won't necessarily be your finding in the niche. "Your own mileage will vary."

Yaa conversions are dependent solely on your ability to convert traffic into $'s...

In any niche you can find warm and cold traffic too. Really it comes down to what you're interested in and your ability to convert cold traffic into customers

all niches are easy to get traffic for. Even with a limited budget you can get some good ad placements. I like the Make money online niche though, this is the easiest niche in the world to get traffic for.

It's so easy, you can get started with a super small budget, and with a great offer and the skills to convert leads into sales you can build a massive budget really quick.

One of the reasons, why IM traffic might be harder to convert..is because we have seen all the elements of IM. The popups, pop-unders...funnels..etc

For this very reason, other niches outside IM are not seeing this all the time and you may get better results. In general, if your traffic is ultra targeted and people really want that product, then the chance of conversion is great...no matter what niche...
